Didn't see a thread for this...?

Anyway. *begin raving*

Wow! I absolutely loved this! Definitely my favorite so far out of Marvel's movies! I thought that Bruce Banner's backstory was especially well done... not overwhelming, but helpful to the plot. It was great seeing Edward Norton in a role in which he truly thrived.

And of course the lovely Liv Tyler's performance was breathtaking. The scene where she got mad at the cab driver was so cute!! Loved it.

I think that's one of the things I especially appreciated about this film... they didn't try to squelch the humor. They could have made it so angst-y, and while there where some underlying threads of angst, there was the beautiful stuff that makes life itself in there too. :) Like "lipgloss."

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!

I saw this films for the first time just the other day, and I loved it! :D

I don't care what anyone says (yes, even you brother dear), this was waaay better than Ang Lee's version a few years ago. So I'm not a Hulk freak, but I as a movie-goer preferred this story, whether it is in keeping with the comics or not.

The opening was a really good way to sort of explain the backstory (and the very brief referances in the film helped as well) and I liked the fact we didn't have to deal with the whole normal-person-becomes-superhero-due-to-science-gone-wrong thing.... because frankly, there's been enough of that.

I thought Edward Norton was amazing (and amazingly cute as well ) so I was really pleased with his Bruce Banner.

I loved the cab scene as well. :P So un-Arwen. I've never actually seen Liv in anything other than LOTR.

And I have to :notworthy: to my hero; Tim Roth. Never knew it was him until after the film ended, but he was... ... *ahem*.. I mean he was so good as Emil Blonksy. :P We Brits make the best villains. Another one to add to my ever increasing list of baddie faves. :teehee:

I thought it was a really enjoyable, entertaining film.

Eesshh how in the hell did I miss this?
:duh:

I saw this when it came out in the cinema. I liked this a lot, much much better than the Ang Lee version which I actually really enjoyed despite it's Gamma Mutts. But the Leterrier version was much more focussed, much more coherent and well...sane lol

I'm not a huge Ed Norton fan, but I thoroughly enjoyed his performance. Liv was wonderful and had a chemistry with Ed that I felt that Jennifer Connelly and Eric Bana lacked somewhat.
William Hurt played Thunderbolt Ross perfectly...absolutely perfectly.
Tim Roth was great as always.

Not my top Marvel or even comic book movie ever. But it really did the characters more justice than any other live action incarnation of the big lug.
