So, I heard about the Legend of the Seeker show, and it sounded really interesting.
I watched the first episode, which was pretty interesting even though the thing I was watching it on kept stopping.... -.-

Anyways... I want to know how much... inappropriate stuff there is in it. I'm kind of picky with what I watch, compared to most teenagers. :P
I'm not as concerned with the violence and blood as much as I am with the language and sexual content, if there is any. There wasn't really too much bad stuff in the first episode... but then, first episodes are usually pretty clean.
I read some reviews on it that said it has some sex scenes later on... if that's the case, I'd rather just not even bother watching it anymore.
And I would rather not find out by seeing it if there are things like that in it.
The last show I watched that was by ABC was pretty bad. But interesting. Why must they do that? They make a show really interesting but then they have to insert a lot of junk in there. What is the point?? Do they think adults won't watch something if it doesn't have a bunch of adult content in it?! :disgust:

Thanks to anyone who replies!

I watch Legend of the Seeker all the time, it's one of my favourite shows ^^

I don't recognize any sex scenes. This is rather child friendly show and I don't remember people having sex. Only kissing and some touching (especially in episode in which Richard is possessed by previous Seeker and Kahlan by his Confessor). Maybe Mord'Sith can be disturbing, because they "train" people by pain and torture.

Yes, there are half naked people but not intimate parts, only torso and no breasts. It's not Game of Thrones, you know

That's what I was going to post! xD Game of Thrones just makes everything look like a kiddie show in comparison. I've only seen half an episode of Legend of the Seeker, though, so I can't say much about it (only that I got the impression it was pretty family-friendly :P).

Aw! Legend of the Seeker! I would watch this every Saturday after work! It was such a fun show! I don't remember any sex scenes, part of me is going "Wait, there was sex in this show?!" I haven't seen season 2, so, I don't really have that much input on that part. Although, I did google it to see if any existed and apparently there are some intimate scenes much later on (I have no idea of how graphic they are or if it's just suggested). Not much help, but, it's still fun to watch.

Thanks for replying, guys! :teehee:
I'm guessing if there is anything too bad in it it's probably in season 2.... that's when shows usually get worse, it seems.
I'll watch some more of it and see how it turns out... I'm watching episode 2 right now and am really liking it. :P

I don't remember sex scenes in season 2 as well :p It's more like Xena: Warrior Princess, I guess reviews you have read were done by ultra sensitive people.

LotS doesn't have erotic scenes. Not in season 1 nor season 2. Of course for some people, half-naked scenes can count as erotism ;) I also don't like sex on screen so I wouldn't watch it if they were such.

I'm on episode 11 of the 1st season now, I really like it.
Definitely not reading the books it's based on though, I hear they're way worse (in adult content) than the show. :/

Season 2... has a lot more crap going on. I only made it through a few episodes before quitting it. It was such a good show though... and Cara was turning out to be an interesting character. Hmph.

The novel is so offending if you love your Fantasy clean.
The author; he even was not as good as Giorgio R R Martin game of thrones so we can forgive his bloody unclean scenes :/ ...

Yeah... I generally only read and watch at least relatively clean stuff. I just don't like putting inappropriate content in meh brain. It's awkward.

Same, clean is perfect, we are watching for the love of the adventure, the magic and just to enjoy Fantasy. I have no idea why they write unclean Fantasy novels???
