Who here likes RENT???????? I saw the movie last month, and it was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo... awesome!!!!!!!! Tis one of my top 5 favorite movies (below the LOTR trilogy, respectively) and my friends and I vowed to become obsessed w/ it (along w/ LOTR) so we're slowly becoming RentHeads!!!!! I'm actually listening to the soundtrack right now!!!!!!! I <3 all the music too!!!!! All the songs are wonderful!!!!! Does anyone else love RENT?????? The music from it is so totally completely awesome!!!!!!!! I have the complete 2-disc soundtrack, and I listen to it practically every day, and I have almost the entire soundtrack memorized!!!! All the songs are amazing, and the cast is REALLY good singing the songs. My friends and I (who are Ringers) are becoming RentHeads, but we all know that we could never be more obsessed w/ anything more than LOTR (and Orlando, in my case!!!!!!) ~Mrs. Bloom~ |

omg i love rent!!! i saw the movie when it came out and i was just amazed by how good it was-the music is definately wonderful-i was going to buy the soundtrack yesterday, but i ddnt have enough money with me  I am also going to new york in april to go see it on broadway-its as a school trip so i get to go with all my friends and we have orchestra seats-i cant wait!!

Awww, that stinks. But all the songs are amazing, and the whole movie overall is sooooooooooooooooooo good!!!! But nothing can beat the LOTR trilogy, obviously. But it is the best musical, like, ever. Oh, if anyone here wants to see the entire movie in 4 minutes, I found this absolutely hilarious video on YouTube. This person took the entire movie, cut out some parts, and sped it up suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuper fast!!!! Everyone's voices are 2 octaves higher than normal, so they all sound like Alvin & the Chipmunks!!!!!!!!!! Tis the most hilarious thing in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

omg!!! 15 more days till RENT comes out on dvd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i cant wait i got the soundtrack like 2 weeks ago and i havent stopped listening to it at all i even walk through school with my headphones on. i am so getting it when it comes out even if i have to walk on the highway to get to a store lol |

I know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait till the 22nd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And less than 1 day till Elizabethtown comes out too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited for a bunch of upcoming releases!!!!!!!

RENT! Oh my! unfair you have already seen it! Here in Denmark it's not in cinema's before 3th march!!! But I love RENT! I really love that musical and the songs! awww so lovely. Actually I like it so much cus it's the first really musical I was in! Yeah I have played that musical, and me and my friends can play it from the begining to the end! and all the songs... and I have seen it other places but only in DK, so can't wait to see this version of it! I saw the trailers for long time ago and I was really amazed by it! I think everybody should watch it, cus it's just such a great musical!!! go go go

I totally completely 100% agree w/ u. RENT is just such an amazing musical, I <333333 it!!!! Aww, but that does stink that it doesn't come out in Denmark for another month. Ooh and Roger... Ur cousin is seeing it on Broadway?????? She's soooooooooooooooooooooo lucky!!!!!!! The tour group is coming to a theater near me at the beginning of March, and me and a bunch of my friends are gonna try to buy "rush tickets" before the show (when Johnathan Larson created RENT, he wanted it to be a show that not only wealthy people can see, so he made this rule that wherever and whenever RENT is showing onstage, the very front 2 rows have to be reserved for "rush tucket" buyers; people who wait outside the theater 2 hours before the show and buy tickets for the front 2 rows for $10-$20!!!!) We're gonna try to find a day where we're all free, and we'll get to the theater atleast 2 1/2 hours before the show so we can try to be the first people in line for it!!!!!!!! My neighbor did this the last time RENT came to the theater a few years ago, and she and her friends got front-row tickets for $20, and they were so close to the stage that they could rest their feet on it (well not her, cuz she's REALLY short, but all of her friends could!)!!!!! I hope that we can see it!!!!!!!!! ~Mrs. Bloom~ P.S. Yeah, even though Orlando is my husband, I'll admit that Adam Pascal is so awesome!!!

I actually played a part in it, but I also did some make-up on the other actors so that was really cool to try!!! I sometimes wish to go back to taht time, cus it was such a great month coming together with people you have lived with in a half a year....

I can't wait 5 more days!!!!!!!!!! But I actually might not be getting it anyway. Originally my parents wouldn't let me see Rent cuz they thought that it would be too inapropriate for me, so they wouldn't let me see it. I had to convince them and beg them to let me see it w/ some of my friends before they finally let me. And now that I'm getting so hyped up cuz the DVD comes out in 5 days, they're now telling me that they might not let me get it!!!!!!!!!! *tear* They say that they don't want something so inapropriate around the house w/ little kids in it (which is understandable, since both my siblings are younger than me) but they're not even interested in seeing it! I've tried to tell them that I'll keep it hidden and I'll only watch it when I'm home alone and stuff like that, but I won't know until 5 days from now, when I can possibly change their minds. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to wait and see... ~Mrs. Bloom~ |
