Is anyone currently watching 'Bleak House' by Charles Dickens on Masterpiece Theatre on PBS? I am addicted to the show right now. I knew that about Esther from the beginning! (the painting the Mr. Guppy saw in Lady Dedlock's house gave it away).

Do you mean the BBC version with Charles Dance, Gillian Anderson? As it finished in Britain months ago. I really, really enjoyed. Great story and a brilliant cast.

I believe so. PBS always shows BBC television.
I would agree though, if you get lost in any way, it's hard to keep from getting confused. i love the show so much!

I know I'm really late, but yes!! Beautiful adaptation! (Although I would expect no less from Andrew Davies.) It's replaced Narnia for #1 in my "Current obsessions" list.
