Well, I'm listening to the soundtrack to Shrek right now, and I can't help but remember some of my favorite parts of this movie. Like all the fine details and ideas taken off of fairytales and other movies, such as Robin Hood and his Merry Men
"Ta, dah, dah, dah, whoo.
I steal from the rich and give to the needy.
He takes a wee percentage,
But I'm not greedy. I rescue pretty damsels
Man, I'm good
What a guy, Monsieur Hood
Break it down
I like an honest fight
and a saucy little maid
What he's basically saying
is he likes to get - -
Paid
So
When an ogre in the bush
grabs a lady by the toosh
That's bad
That's bad
When a beauty's with a beast
it makes me awfully mad
He's mad
He's really, really mad
I'll take my blade and
ram it through your heart
Keep your eyes on me, boys
'cause I'm about to start"
*cough* Anyways...What's your favorite part in the movie?

I have both Shrek's and I love them! Donkey is my favourite character followed by Puss in Boots! I love that Merry Men song as well!

I love the movies, and so does my cousin's daughter. We got her a book on the making on Shrek for Easter, and she loved it...it was pretty cool.

The first one was good, but I almost liked the second one better just because of Puss n Boots. Those eyes! So cute in an animated way! And I just love Antonio Banderas.
The music in the first one was better though.

I loved the beginning when he first met donkey. oh yeah, and the onion part. was it something like,
"Ogres are like onions."
something like that. it was hilarious.

I remember that lol. Shrek is awesome! I've only seen first movie though so I have this feeling I've missed major part (what do you know). So, I'll have to find a way to see where I can find the DVD asap =)

We're going to watch Shrek in French, during French!!! w00t! Lol.
My friends and I spent our latest french class quoting Donkey, and then we persuade our teacher to let us watch shrek in french, so we could quote it in french!! I haven't see either for a while, but I love the bit in the first one where donkey goes...
"Oh, man, I can't feel my toes! I don't have any
toes! I think I need a hug."
And the layers bit...
Shrek:"Orges are like onions."
Donkey:"They stink?"
Shrek:"Yes - - No!"
Donkey:"They make you cry?"
Shrek:"No!"
Donkey:"You leave them in the sun, they get all brown, start sproutin' little white hairs."
Shrek:"No! Layers! Onions have layers. Orges have layers! Onions have layers. You get it? We both have layers."
Donkey:"Oh, you both have layers. You know, not everybody likes onions. Cake! Everybody loves cakes! Cakes have layers."

I love Shrek, especially the way it pays attention to all the little details. (Which most great movies do) but I really love the karaoke in the end credits.

Whoa, I'm suprised there han't been a thread about this yet, Shrek rocks! And I agree with Orelind, the Kareoke is the best. Apparentl, the next one'll be about King Arthur.
