I didn't know where to put this, but considering it's an award show for MOVIES on TV, well...this seemed ideal. 
The annual MTV Movie awards where WE get to decide who wins in some of the greatest categories! Mad---I mean, Montana, you sound kind of like an MTV rep, or something. Anyways, I voted, even though in some of the categories I hadn't seen any of the movies! Like 'Best Frightened Performance'...I voted for Dakota Fanning, because she's cute, not because I've seen War of the Worlds. |

Good lord! Larien has risen from the DEAD!!!!! Yeah, I voted for Dakota as well. But because of all of them, that's the only movie in that category I had seen, and because she was really cute in that movie.  Ha ha ha.
Yay!!! I sound like a MTV rep! Well, at least it sounded some what professional. Vote away people!!! |

*has too much caffenine and has trouble typing* I only voted for the categories where I thought they had good nominations I almost choked to death while drinking when one of the nominations for Best kiss were the gay cowboys from Brookback Mountain (even though I voted for it) |

I was surprised that it was nominated, but VERY happy that it was! YAY!!!!! Hope they win!!! Get out the vote, people!!

The only categories I voted for were the ones with cute actors as nominations. That embarrasly includes the Best Kiss category with the gay cowboys

I'm not much of a MTV rep, but a movie & vh1 rep, yes...despite that mtv kinda owns vh1..oh w/e I like their shows....anyway...Anything dealing with movies or awards shows I'm all up for it. I haven't missed a mtv award show since....um...I was 11? I like to watch their's.  (excuse me while I rock out with madonna!)

I love the MTV Movie Awards because they're SO hysterical. I'm not much of one for the others, but these rock! And besides, it's GOLDEN POPCORN! |

Why are there only two female nominations for best performance?  I guess '05 was a pretty male-dominated year, but still.

I used to love watching these when LotR got nominated each year. Does anyone remeber Gollum's acceptance speech? 
I don't think the nominations are so good this year. I know they're trying to be different from the Oscars but I think that the Oscars did pretty well in choose their films this year so I'd have liked to see a few more of these films nominated. I mean Wedding Crashers was good but not Film of the Year. |
