Has anyone seen it? All I know is that it's a documentary movie-style in the cinema. Anyone here like it, or recomend it, or want to describe it?

I heard it was really good, that even though it was a documentary it was really cute and you got really into it. Should've seen it when I had the chance...

yes, i saw it a while ago. the penguins were adorable! and yes, it was documentary style, so it's the kind of thing you would see on TV. i thought there were really some sad parts though. the whole movie was really about survival. but i learned some amazing things about penguins.

overall, i thought it was ok. just my opinion.

I absolutely adored this movie! I loved how the penguins formed these penguin families, and were genuinely grieved when their eggs were lost. I felt so sorry for them, they seemed so human!

Man, I LOVE this movie. Mostly because I love Antarctica, but in loving Antarctica, I love everything about it. So, I really enjoyed this movie. I knew a lot about the penguins before I saw this movie, but that didn't stop me from loving it! I don't think a documentary has made me so emotional....of course, a lot of it has to do with the politics of global warming, but I won't get into that. Yay for the French documentarians and of course, YAY for the penguins! They RULE!

Oh, and did anyone see when they won at the Academy Awards?! The two French guys brought up big stuffed animal penguins and thanked the penguins! Oh man! Yay!!! :bounce:

I wish I could have seen this movie. it sounds interesting. the main reason I didn't see it was because our vice principal loved it and the vice principal [cough] [s]doesn't have very good judgement[/s] is a very nice person.

The March of the Penguins was edited slightly for the American audiences because a lot of conservative people were complaining about its "offensive" material too much, which is just weird in my opinion. A movie is a movie, if you don't like it you don't have to see it but don't make people change it just to suit your needs. I haven't seen the film yet but I want to (the real unedited version of course!)
