I'm curious if anyone here has seen the movie and likes it. Because, I loved it! I watched it premiere 3 nights in a row on AMC. I realized I never got to see this movie three years ago, and I always wanted to. Yup, being the sensitive person I am, I did cry a bit.

I remember that movie! Yes, I had really enjoyed it, not enough to be one of my faves, but it's a movie that I like a lot. And it sorta makes you think. |

It's my fav with Lotr. The samurai have such a good way of life, and they have honor, courage , discipline. I would love to be Nathan Algren there. And yes, it is an emotional movie. The modern times that are pushing away the past is a genial idea for a movie, and the movie came out great. I loved it, good idea to make a topic for this www.thelastsamurai.com |

I love this movie and I'm not what you'd call a Tom Cruise fan. But he was actually pretty good in it. Ken Watanbe completely stole the show from start to finish though. |

Yay! I see we have some fans of the movie out there. I wished sometimes that I could live among those peaceful trees. Watch the trees blossoming each season. |

I love that movie! I saw it a few monthes ago. It was very moving, and the end was so sad. Tom Cruise was exellent in it, he is one of my favorite actors. Reading this thread makes me want to go out and watch it again!

Yes, I saw it a few years ago and I liked it..I can't remember much about it though..
