"Mergers", by Steven Layne. I don't like it all too much, though. His writing style really isn't that good. Required reading, if you're wondering!! -_- He's coming to visit our school, so we're being forced to read his stuff.

"the book of lost things" by john connolly. very good if you like subverted fairy stories (which i do). according to this, little red riding hood fell in love with the wolf and together they spawned a new race of wolf-men. bizarre!

A few- The Kite Runner, which is wonderful so far. It's about modern day Afghanistan- very sad though. Then 1984, which is very interesting. And RotK- for the 100th time.

^ all three of them are on my list of favourite books. i got so into kite runner i actually started praying for one of the characters and had to remind myself they weren't real! and the last sentence of 1984 sends shivers down my spine.
i'm still reading the book of lost things, but i'm also about to start rereading the turn of the screw cuz it's one of the set texts for my prose exam.

On top of Eragon that I posted a little while back, I'm now reading Scar Tissue, Anthony Kiedis' autobiography. Very interesting.

I'm currently still reading (Very slowly) the Pride and the Prejudice (as I said earlier) and I am also reading the Hobbit for the first time. Though I seem to be reading the Hobbit at a quicker pace. I think that I'm on page 133 of the it. It is a pretty good book.
