Right now I'm trying to figure out what to read. I picked up GK Chesterton's "Ball and the Cross" but can't settle down with it.

I just read "Art Geeks and Prom Queens" by Alyson Noel today, and....BLECH! Yeah, I enjoy a few predictable high school stories, but this one was just...ERG. I wanted to slap the main character very, very hard most of the time. Not one character was likable. It didn't help that the author had, er, very odd notions of how to make her characters sound teen-like, such as making them not go a sentence without throwing in a "totally!" or "oh my God!" (of course, it didn't help that she always wrote "oh, my God!" - who uses a comma there? - and that when she tried to imitate notes written in chatspeak, she would capitalize things like "U" and "GR8" [ok, people who aren't patient enough to write out full words are NOT patient enough to capitalize either]). Plus either the character or the author (both, probably) had no clue that there is like toooootally omg! a difference between a "geek" and a "dork." "Geek" is not synonymous with socially awkward. Geeks. Are. Cooler. Than. The. Author. And. Character. Will. Ever. Ever. Be.
Sorry, that book just...bothered me. I'm not sure why I even finished it; total waste of time. Blah!
Planning on reading "Blood and Chocolate" next (saw the movie trailer, thought it looked interesting, and heard the book was pretty good).

Fwee! I read that for school a couple of months about, it was really good.

Well I'm still reading Scar Tissue and Eragon, I want to finish them though so I can start on my others that I got for Christmas.

I read Sense and Sensibility a long time ago. I'm pretty sure I liked it.
Right now, I'm reading Pillars of Creation by Terry Goodkind. It's the seventh book in his Sword of Truth series. And they are like awesome!

I'm reading Star Wars: X-wing: Wraith Squadron<=Not sure exactly how to write that out. It's a Star Wars book, but part of the X-wing miniseries.

I was going to start Sherlock Holmes 2 days ago but couldn't get into it at that time, so I'm reading
Beyond the Summerland; which is the first book in The Binding of the Blade series by L.B. Graham.
