Well, I just finished "Ruby In The Smoke" by Phillip Pullman. Oooh! Good! Now, I'm gonna watch it on PBS (Masterpiece Theatre). Now, I wanna read the other Sally Lockhart books! Yay!!

And for something completely different,
"Bleakhouse" by Charles Dickens. I honestly don't know why I checked it out. :P Oh well...it's good so far.

Cannery Row by John Steinbeck. It's got more humor than I was expecting for Steinbeck-a very dry, sometimes dark humor, but humor nonetheless! lol

I would say I am reading Night Train to Rigel by Timothy Zahn, but that was last night, and since I'm finished it now, I can't really say I'm currently reading it.

So what I'm kind of reading now is Star Wars - The New Jedi Order: The Unifying Force.

I'm reading the Life, Everything, and the Universe by Douglas Adams. I borrowed the Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and they are really addicting. I really really like Marvin. He just cracks me up!

Ha. I love those books. Marvin is so cool...he's...all Marvinish. "I think you ought to know I'm feeling very depressed."

^ good book. most annoying protagonist in literature though.

i've promised to lend the hobbit to a friend (he had an urge to read it after our lecture on beowulf) so i'm rereading it quickly before i give it to him - i know from experience that as soon as i lend a book i want to read it, so i figured i should read it first.

The Book of Lost Tales, Volume 1 by J.R.R. Tolkien. It's quite fascinating reading about all this Middle-earth history, I wish they'd teach us this stuff in school instead of boring things... ;)
