Fight Club: A Novel by Chuck Palahniuk.

It only took me four years of dying to read it to actually order it from the library. :P

^The book they made into a movie? How do you like it?

I'm half-ways through Wuthering Heights... and still not liking it. I really have to take a deep breath every time I dive into it, because it's just tragedy upon tragedy, misery and wickedness...

^I love it. It's just my kind of demented and disturbing. No word yet on whether I like it better than the movie though.

But then...I also adore Wuthering Heights, so... :P

I'm reading Dostoevsky's Crime and Punishment, Stephen King's Carrie, and Philip Roth's American Pastoral. And Virginia Woolf's To The Lighthouse. :bye2:

I totally didn't know there was a new Artemis Fowl! I used to love those books! After the Lost Colony I kinda grew out of them, but that's so cool...I should read it just because...

Anyway, currently on The Great Hunt by Robert Jordan, and going to start Left Behind by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins afterward.

^Yeah, it's really not as good as the other ones. Eoin's writing has gotten really stale, and none of the characters except Holly seem to have any emotion any more. But read it for the heck of it anyways.

Yeah, I looked up the first chapter online last night, and by the end of it I wanted evil conniving Artemis back :P I always liked Holly best anyway, but this one doesn't really grab me as much as the others. I loved them up until The Opal Deception, and The Lost Colony was still okay-ish, but I dunno about this one.

The Twilight Streets by Gary Russell.

Seriously, though. Eight short chapters in and Gwen's already gone off on one of her annoying little rants. :eyeroll:

Twilight. Ugh. Just from curiosity, but this is the first and last book by Stephenie Meyer I'm going to read.

I just started rereading Eye of the World by Robert Jordan. For, like, the 6th time. And hopefully by the time I get all the way to Knife of Dreams the next book will be out.
