The Secret Sharer by Joseph Conrad... finished it last night and about to start on The Heart of Darkness by him.
TSS was good... a bit biased though, I though. And while I enjoyed the nautical bits, I can see where other people might get bogged down by it.

You're really reading that? I'm a Hindu and I've never touched the thing! XD Though I have heard little snippets and stories from it many times. It's quite amazing mostly, it tells of you of the whole religion and is a very important book to us. Quite enjoyable unless you're standing in assembly listening to your principal read from it early in the morning. XD
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince: J.K. Rowling - I'm taking even longer than usual to read this one...haha.

let's see, the book I'm currently reading is These Happy Golden Years by Laura Ingalls Wilder...never read this book so I'm curious to see how she and Almanzo get married.
the past week, I've read, "Ruth" and "The Peacemaker" *Men of the Saddle, 1* by Lori Copeland, "The Redemption of Sarah Cain" by Beverly Lewis, "The Long Winter" and "Little Town on the Prairie" by Laura INgalls Wilder...whew. Yes, I had a lot of time on my hands this week as I was on vacation.

The Merchant of Venice by Shakespeare. I love Shakespeare. Even the books I don't like, I do. I mean... all of his characters are so imperfect, so human... the humor is ace... the romance is cynical and simultaneously passionate. Just pure genius. And Shylock is an incredible character.

FINALLY finished The Great Hunt and onto The Dragon Reborn. Reading the Wheel of Time is practically like agreeing to be seen with a thick heavy book for the entire school year.

I JUST finished The Scarlet Letter. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. It got going faster about halfway through.

Rolf and the Viking Bow.
I'm completely out of books... I've read all the ones I've brought, and now I'm having to raid my nephews stash.
