Can NGOs Make a Difference?
Quite interesting actually... because sometimes the NGOs are seen as the 7th Wonder and there are a lot of organisations working their butts off for the poor... but sometimes that's not even enough.

We just finished reading Julius Caesar by Shakespeare (obviously), and I found it to be... annoying. Mainly because of people talking in 3rd person .


But on a better note we're about to start Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury and I'm really looking forward to reading it.

We read it at the beginning of the year on my English class and all of us really did dislike Gene at the end of the novel. He's such a depressed little lad.

Breadgivers by Anzia Yezierska (I think I spelled her name wrong, but the book was good!)
The Canterbury Tales by Geoffrey Chaucer (Good stuff, man!)
Julius Caesar - Shakespeare (LOVE)
Hamlet - Shakespeare (Much love!)
Romeo & Juliet - Shakespeare (<3)
Dante's Inferno - Dante Alighieri (I can't even describe how much I adore this book.)

I'm reading The Penelopiad by Margaret Atwood right now for my Women's Studies course. A very interesting read. Different from most books I read. It's basically going back into mythology and writing it from the woman's perspective.

I do not like them at all... the way it's written bothers me because I don't like how it rhymes - don't get me wrong, I love poetry that rhymes but not with the end two words each time... ha ha I think I'm confusing you all.

Maybe it's just senioritis setting in at this time of year, but unfortunately we still have to read Hamlet before the school year is over.

Siddhartha - Herman Hesse (Rather enjoyable)
Crime and Punishment - Fyodor Dostoevsky (Im not going to lie; I didn't even read this, and yet I wrote a 2000 word paper on it. SO BORING)

^ I love Crime and Punishment! He kills two old women within the first hundred pages! How can you not love it? However, I'm totally with you when it comes to Metamorphosis - I gave up on that one.
