Carmody. Isobelle Carmody. You've got to be the only other person on this site who appears to know who she is! lol. I really enjoyed Obernewtyn.

"Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" for fun, and "Alice Through the Looking-Glass" for English class.

Hey, Larael, out of curiousity, do you like "Through the Looking Glass" better than Alice in Wonderland?

Got a book in the mail from an author today for reviewing. This one looks interesting. I'm about a quarter of the way through it it. The author's name is Leathel Grody and the book is a kind of fantasy. Good so far, though not excellent.

Erm... it's almost identical to 'Wonderland', and I find it a chore to read. If you enjoy Lewis Carroll, and if you're into riddles and puns you'd love it. I do enjoy it a little bit more than I did 'Wonderland' though.
The whole story is based on a chess game. It's very confusing, and made even more so by riddles through out the book.

Oh, I was just wondering bcause I've never been able to read "Wonderland" myself, but I found myself able to read "Through the Looking-glass". I wasn't sure whether this was just me, or if the latter was actually a better book...

Just finished the Prince in Waiting trilogy.
It was interesting - had some food for thought...

I am reading The Chronicals of Narnia. It is a really gigantic thick book with all the stories in it. It is soo hard to carry around!
