^Oh, you must tell me what you think when you've finished.
I read Down Under by Bill Bryson while I was in Australia.

Just started Crime & Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky.
I've been wanting to read it for ages but it's not exactly a book you pick up for pleasure reading... Now I've teamed up with a friend who studies Russian and we've made our own small book club to support each other. We've planned to read the first two chapters before Sunday... Wish me luck.

Because my main library is such crap, I've had an impossible time trying to read everything in order. I've finally found a couple small libraries that have far better selections, which makes no sense to me. So I've read "Summer Knight" and "White Night" and the first Dresden book I ever read was "Dead Beat," and I agree with you; it's my FAVOURITE. I laughed so much and so ridiculously hard through it - OH my god. I can't wait to get all caught up, I love this series way too much for my own good.
"Emma" by Jane Austen. So I tried reading it weeks ago - but the introduction was like reading a text book (and since at the time I was determined to read the intro) and I couldn't finish it. But now I've just said, screw the intro and am well into it. *squeeeeeeeee*

Just finished Along Came a Spider and am waiting for the library to get in Kiss the Girls. In the meanwhile I'm reading Goddess of Spring by P.C. Cast

Aww, sorry about the library. I cheated and my I list before I started. Though I still read book nine before book eight. Yeah, "Dead Beat" was really funny. I liked the chase scene on the streets of Chicago after they visit the Field Museum. With Sue the T-Rex.

OH my god. The chase scene was probably one of the greatest things I've ever read. I will never forget when I first read it - I was in tears I was laughing so hard. It just conjured up this image that I will never be able to forget. One that every time I read a book in the Dresden Files, I will remember.
I just finished reading "Emma."
Can I just say that I think Mr. Knightley is the ONLY sane person in the entire novel??? He's so ridiculously brilliant - I love it. *SQUEEE*
