Heheh, daughterofkings, I'm reading the Scarlet Letter too, for school. What do you think of it? I dislike it very much so far :annoyed: Too many sentences punctuated by exclamation points, too much fake Old English.

Also began suffering from Laurie withdrawal, so picked up Little Women again. I first read it when I was about eight (or had it read aloud to me, rather), then re-read it about a year and a half ago, re-watched the movie a couple months ago, and decided I should now re-re-read the book to compare book and movie. Laurie's very nearly as adorable in the book as he is in the movie

Awww, Arwen's smitten :P

I'm re-reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince at the moment... trying to see if there's any other little clues I can pick up in time for the seventh book :P I'm desperate to find the book Brokeback Mountain though, to see how it compares to the film. Must check into the town library at some point!

I read "The Covenant" (can't remember who it was by.) The language was interesting - put me off a bit, but I managed to get into it, and I listened to "Up on Cloud Nine" on CD because I could listen and do maths at the same time. I just finished reading the play "A Doll's House" by Ibsen (for literature). I actually liked it, though I think "Hedda Gabler" was better. Now I'm reading "Alyzon Whitestarr" by Isobelle Carmody - it's very, very good!
