Heheh, daughterofkings, I'm reading the Scarlet Letter too, for school. What do you think of it? I dislike it very much so far Too many sentences punctuated by exclamation points, too much fake Old English.
Also began suffering from Laurie withdrawal, so picked up Little Women again. I first read it when I was about eight (or had it read aloud to me, rather), then re-read it about a year and a half ago, re-watched the movie a couple months ago, and decided I should now re-re-read the book to compare book and movie. Laurie's very nearly as adorable in the book as he is in the movie

Awww, Arwen's smitten
I'm re-reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince at the moment... trying to see if there's any other little clues I can pick up in time for the seventh book I'm desperate to find the book Brokeback Mountain though, to see how it compares to the film. Must check into the town library at some point!

I read "The Covenant" (can't remember who it was by.) The language was interesting - put me off a bit, but I managed to get into it, and I listened to "Up on Cloud Nine" on CD because I could listen and do maths at the same time. I just finished reading the play "A Doll's House" by Ibsen (for literature). I actually liked it, though I think "Hedda Gabler" was better. Now I'm reading "Alyzon Whitestarr" by Isobelle Carmody - it's very, very good!
