I dont remember exaclty, but I think it goes along the lines with a King Arthur plot. Leastways, I think. I remember it was about a boy.and this wizard, Merlin.

OOOOOOH. I read those once... Or at least part of the first one. Its a trilogy, if I recall correctly. I got to a point in the book where I was a bit... uncomfortable reading it. I stopped reading, of course, and so I don't really know what happens.

Ohhh yes, I've read those (all three of them) a long time ago. They were okay, I guess, not something I'd read again.

I've read them all. The Seeing Stone, At the Crossing Places, and The King of the Middle March. By Kevin Crosslley-Holland.
They're about a teenage boy named Arthur in the 14th century who is training to become a knight. An old man/hermit known as Merlin gives Arthur a stone, and often when he looks into the stone he sees the events surrounding the tales of King Arthur. It's not always about King Arthur (whom the boy Arthur resembles in appearance) but other characters in the legends, intersperced with stories about the boy Arthur's life.
I thought it was interesting - an interesting view on the legends and an interesting insight to life in the 14th century, training to become a knight and crusades. I really enjoyed them.
