I lose a lot of respect for an artist when I find out that their voice was altered on the cd, when they can't sing well in real life. Back when Evanescense first started getting popular, I was a big fan, and then I saw them live on TV. Amy Lee sounded terrible. I thought maybe she had a cold and just wasn't sounding good that night. But no, I listened to her live a few other times on the internet, and it was the same story. Needless to say, I can't stand listening to Evanescence anymore because I have just lost all respect for Amy Lee and her so-called voice.

She wasn't lip synching, but maybe she should have.

A friend of mine lend me the live CD of Evanescence.She told me "You are not going to like it!"Amy's voice sounds awfull".I heard it and she didn't sound so good.I still listen to their songs now and then but I'm not a fan anymore.

I remember when the evanescance craze swept throught AU *laughs*
At one stage I think almost %70 were obsessed with it.

Anyone who lip-synches *coughs* Ashlee Simpson Britney Spears *coughs* should be hurt badly by say, oh, I don't know, metal bats or acid, or maybe even burned... I would take a bad singer over a lip-syncher ANY DAY... It just really disgusts me

Really? Becuase I´ve seen them "live" on TV and she sounded great... :/

I guess singers do that becuase 1.) they can´t sing at all 2.) they´re probably nervous [but that counts just for newbies!] so they´d sound awful..

I don't admire singers who aren't really singers. I enjoy talent, not fakness. And nice "name mentioning" between your coughs Helena.

You know Fergie doesn't sound very good live....I like it better on video. I don't mind them lip synching durin a music video, but I hate it if they're gonna do it live. I like real talent like Mariah Carey, she's my girl.
