Ohhh, I love Evanescence! The only problem is, I don't actually own any of their songs. *devasted look* I don't know where to get them, and my mom won't let me get the CD. I especially want the song "Whisper", as I LOVE the tune on that one.  I love both versions of it, and would DIE to have it, but I suppose that's just wishful thinking. *cries* Anyway, I do love this band, and I wish I had their songs!!!

Yeah, if nobody minds, I would also like to shoot a general question here... um, from my experience, I have found out that there are two versions of "My Immortal" and two versions of "Whisper". Now...I found out that the versions that I have of those songs are the ones I don't like as much as the other one...so does anyone know where I could get the other version? Of "Whisper" spacifically? Is there even such a thing?

i love all of their songs but My immortal is the best though wherenevr i'm feeling low in listen to Going under. it kinda makes me feel better

I really like Evanescence, but because of the usual type of band I listen to, people don't exactly expect me to like them. Oh well, I do like breaking stereotypes about myself.
Origin is better than Fallen. JMO

Evanescence ROCKS!! Really, what an original gothic band! There are some of their songs that seem a little pointless to me, but there are others that just have me dazed for hours.
Oh, and Melphie: I think there are like three different versions of Whisper, depending on which CD you get. I've only heard two versions myself, the one from Anywhere But Home and the one from Fallen. Those are the two most common. But I don't know...maybe someone else knows of another version? _________________

There are two other versions of Whisper, as far as I know. One was known as "Whisper 2002" which had this reallly awesome gothic LotR-ish opening, and then the Origin version which was almost the same as the 2002 version except they deleted the opening.
Meh - can't wait for their new CD! I've run out of Evanescence songs to listen to...
Just randomly, has anyone heard the stuff David Hodges (former Ev band member) sang with Amy Lee? It's really nice...
