Good topic! *applaudes* For me, good songs have to be one or both of the following: They have to have deep lyrics, a good beat, a groovy sound, and they have to be meaningful in some way... or, they have to be fun, and make you wanna dance or just enjoy what you're listening to.

Why do I like music? That's a very good question, hmmm...let me think about my poems (I write poems all the time, including the topic music)
If it's anything I can dance, sing, or feel the rhythm too it can become my fav.
Not a good explaination? Well, I believe music has a powerful impact in our life in some way. Music has affected our lives in at least one way whether you like it or not. I think we really can't live without music, it's harmony in every genre. Just like Tolkien use to describe the Music of the Ainur. See why?
