I hope there's not already a thread for him, but I absolutely adore the song "Chicago", I can relate with many parts in it. For some reason, no matter how many times I listen to it, I never tire of it.

Plus, his voice is really nice and his lyrics are really great. :teehee: Yay!

YEAH SUFJAN!

I don't think there's a thread about him. I just recently heard of/listened to his music. I love his folksyness, and I love that he has an entire cd dedicated to Michigan :D

I'm listening to err.. "Concerning the UFO sighting near Highland, Illinois" I love the song! The piano is gorgeous. I love Sufan's Voice, it's so very calming....it makes me happy.

I want to get his Michigan cd because I want to hear the songs having to do with Sleeping Bear (Dunes) and Holland, because I've been to both those places. *hearts*

OOo! Michigan Cd! How exciting! I think I may have seen that on Amazon...hehe! Sadly he doesn't have a song about St. Joe Michigan, where my mum is from and where I spent many summer vacations....:teehee:

Ha, I'm looking at all the songs on the "Michigan" cd and I just love how he uses such long titles for all of his songs....it's exciting :p

After watching Little Miss Sunshine I listened to Chicago for over ten hours straight. I love him.

:teehee: That's exciting! Yay for Sufjan!

Oh my goodness, when I heard the first 3 notes of "Chicago" on Little Miss Sunshine, my friend and I started screaming, and jumping around, "Oh my God, It's Sufjan!!!!" Luckly we were in her living room, and not...in front of other people :teehee:

Recently I've been listening to the song "To Be Alone With You" a lot. It's really pretty! I just love Sufjan, he writes such wonderful poetic lyrics!
