So glad this is a thread about future gigs and not past. I'd be here all day trying to remember them all. Bloody senility :P

I only have two in the near future because parental responsibilities deem it to be so *sigh*

Anyhoo....

October 10th: DragonForce/Turisas
December 2nd: Finnish Fire Tour [Korpiklaani, Battlelore, Falchion and Kivimetsän Druidi]

Yeah. I saw them on there last tour with Edguy and Sabaton. Was a fantastic show. All 3 bands were awesome.
DF are just so much fun live.

Natalie MacMaster has a concert in October. I'd like to go to that one, but I'm still deciding if I actually will or not. *debates with self* Great Big Sea is playing the day after Natalie MacMaster. I'd really like to see them live, but that would involve quite a bit of driving.

Okay I've got coming up...

- Cryptopsy w/ Norther - September 25
- Amon Amarth w/ Ensiferum - October 15
- Kataklysm w/ Dying Fetus, Eluveitie - October 26
- Moonsorrow - November 17
- Turisas w/ Dragonforce - December 5

Man, this is gonna be the best end of the year ever. I also just saw Finntroll about 2 weeks ago so that was a huge bonus...

Tickets are not available for purchase yet but I will be seeing DragonForce/Turisas on February 28th, 2009 in Stockholm! Cannot wait. It'll be me third DF show and the first time I'm seeing Turisas.

If I can afford it, I might go and see Sabaton on November 29th in Linköping. But that's a major if at the moment.

Babe I'm so jealous at you for seeing Korpi!

Turisas is amazing live... my favourite band to see live I think. I've never seen DF live before, so this oughta be interesting.

Speaking of Korpiklaani, I'm so upset that the only place in Canada they're going is Calgary Alberta, which is completely random. Whyyy??

Are you sure that's not the other way round?

Babe...you live in the best area in the world for metal. I'm almost sure that Korpiklaani will play near you soon.

I've missed Alestorm this past August. Plus I'm gonna miss Enslaved/CthoniC and the Unholy Alliance tour. NOT happy.

The only time I saw Korpiklaani live they had such a hangover they played for 25 minutes and left. Oh those Finns  I'd LOVE to see Turisas live but as a headliner, not support.

I actually don't have any gigs planned right now. oO I'd kinda like to go to Dark Tranquillity but I'm unlikely to. I just happen to have school next day.

Maironiel, you're seeing Anberlin? SO not fair. :-P

Well, Ginny Owens is playing at my school tomorrow - twice! And because I'm a student I get in for free! I'm excited... she does really pretty music. I've been listening to this one song by her for two years now.

In early October a friend has offered to drive me to a Red/Switchfoot/Third Day concert. If it works out I will be thrilled beyond belief. It kind of depends on my parents.

EDIT: Saw Ginny Owens this morning, and am hoping I can again tonight. She was brilliant. Beautiful, gorgeous voice, and such a gifted pianist. Also, just listening to her talk between songs, she seems like an absolutely amazing person... she just seems to glow. It was amazing. The thing that everyone else kept commenting on is that she's blind (which I hadn't known before this morning), but she's one of those people who has totally not been held back by her disability.

Fun... I've seen Anberlin twice, they are really good in concert.

I have two shows coming up... Cobra Starship on October 25th, and
3oh!3 on the 26th. I don't really like these bands all that much, but my boyfriend and some friends of ours are all making a trip out of it so it will be fun (the shows are about 6 hours away in Seattle).

It's not really a gig, but it kind of is...ish.

Our local cinema(Galaxy Cinemas) is having the Fall Concert Series on their big screens. Every week they're playing a compilation of a few diferent bands on one night, some of them I've never heard of (The Envelopes & the Shins, Beck Davis, Joel Plaskett Emergency and others), but they are having, to my great delight, a one hour Radiohead special(With some other band I don't care about). My mother agreed to buy me and a friend tickets to it, so I get to go see that.

It's the closest I'll get to an actual Radiohead concert until I move to a big city, so I'm taking the oppurtunity.

I'm hopefully going to the Creation tour sometime soon. Kutless, TFK, Capital Lights, and Fireflight are the bands I'm looking forward to seeing. :) I do love my concerts....

Even if you move to a city, the chances of getting Radiohead tickets that aren't nosebleed seats that cost you roughly half your college savings are next to none.

Meh. Every show that I've planned to go to this year has fallen though.

Right now I'm simply hoping to manage to get tickets to Snow Patrol sometime next year. Maybe Los Campesinos! if they come to the state. The same for Cold War Kids, Keane and Kings of Leon.

Yeah...I live in Maine. Nobody comes here. :P

All right, that isn't strictly true, but nobody I want to see comes here.
