Whether you play guitar or not. If so who are your influences? if not who do you love?! Over the years of growing up and playing I fell in love with the guitar playing of John Frusciante, Mikko Lindstrom, Jimmy Page to name a few. Massive influences there.
How about you guys? fav guitarists?

Dimebag Darrell from Pantera always tops my list.
Others I like are in no particular order: Alex Skolnick [Testament], Zakk Wylde [Black Label Society/Ozzy/Pride & Glory], Chuck Schuldiner [Death], Paul Masvidal [Cynic], Jeff Loomis [Nevermore], Mike Amott [Arch Enemy] to name just a few off the top of my head.

I have got to say that there are a ton of good ones out there...really good ones!
Joe Satriani (sp?) Randy Roads Tomy Emanuel Anrea Segovia (Pardon my spelling on most of those)
But honestly the one who has influenced me most would be my guitar teacher who taught me for about 5 years. His name is Dan (Daniel) Prather
He played proffesionaly for about 15 years I think in several different famouse and semi-famouse bands. No huge names but he sure knows his stuff and is way diverse in styles he can play and very good too!

well id say i like all the greats such as Jimi Hendrix etc but my favourite would be difficult to say as there really are some talented people out there. i'm a fan of Carlos Santana- his solo in the song ''into the night'' is amazing. But my all time favourite guitarist would have to be Emppu Vuorinen of Nightwish. His solos are amazing such as in Over the Hills and Far Away, Nemo etc.

I don't know how to play but would like too someday. for me the number one guitarist that comes to my mind is Jody Davis from the Newsboys Here is a reason why, you can listen to the whole song but his best part is at 4:23 and on. Especially at the 5:00 minute mark is the best.
I do not play guitar, but the first person my mind went to was Richard Kruspe the lead guitarist for Rammstein. Emppu Vuorinen from Nightwish is amazing too.

I took guitar lessons more than once without success.
My favourite guitar player of all time is Lindsey Buckingham from Fleetwood Mac. His fingers are like magic on the strings.
I have another fave though. His name is Nicholas Marks and he performs almost daily at Downtown Disney Springs. I do not know how to post a link here but check him out on YouTube. He is brilliant.
