I'm a musical omnivore. What I listen to tends to reflect what's happening in my environment, and how it's affecting me. I can't say I like any particular genre more that another. I have some 3,000+ records albums and they cover pretty much every genre except rap ..... not a fan.

Must admit, I am not a big fan of rap either. And although I prefer western and Irish good music is good music. So long as it has a good tune and good words.

Depends on my mood. If I'm angry it'll be Marilyn Manson or something. If I'm feeling giddy I love Taylor Swift.
So genres depend so much on the mood I'm in. But I don't do rap, r&b, hip hop or housemusic. Or screamo.

Yeah I used to like rap when I was younger but I guess I grew out of it.

I hate rap. Now I do love U Can't Touch This by MC Hammer however, old rap is not really considered rap now so...
Plus older music is better, I rarely like today's music. Adele is the only current artist I see any talent from. I love all her songs if I like another song from a new artist it is usually a one hit wonder kind of deal.

I have quite a large collection of cds but not much of it is recent. Mainly because the bands I liked either quite or they changed there sound so I don't care for them much anymore. I listened to mainly Christian music when I was young but some of my favorite bands like Kutless and Sanctus Real changed there sound and now they sound like all the other contemporary stuff which I don't really care for. I still like bands like Skillet and the Newsboys plus a few others. My top band is probably Lifehouse.

So you are a soft rock/Christian rock music person?
Skillet has some great songs, my favorite Lifehouse song is You and Me.

Mostly movie soundtracks, but I'm willing to try anything except techno and heavy metal.

I love a lot of movie soundtracks! They come upnwith some really good music for them.
Lol techno has never been my favorite but I did listen to a few songs backnin my teen years. I could never get into it.

I'm the quintessential classic rocker chick, and a tie-dyed traditional folkie most of the time. Although, depending on mood, I will change genres at the drop of a hat.
