I didn't watch them. I'm not particularly one for award shows, especially music award shows. But when I read the New York Times this morning, I saw they had a list and decided to see who won.

I was happy for U2 and Greenday. But my favourite winner was Senator Barack Obama for Best Spoken Word Album. Isn't that awesome?! Ha ha ha!

The thing about the Grammies is that they nominate and award EVERYTHING. Rap to country to spoken-word to polka. That's what's so amazing about them.

I watched the last hour, taped a bunch. I'd never seen them, so I wanted to. Dunno if I'll really watch, though. I don't think anyone really great was nominated this year...except that Green Day's one of my favourites, so I got to see them win. That was cool. ^^

I was really happy when I heard U2 won 5 grammys, i was like yay! and i'm glad Green Day won an award for Boulivard of Broken dreams (great song, but very overated).

I saw a little of the grammys. I usually don't like watching this kind of stuff (personally I think it's like a music popularity contest) but I was bored. I guess it was alrighty.
