Throwdown is a Hardcore band (already a sign of crapiness in my eyes) that deserves absolutely NO credit as musicians or even artists. The only reason I saw them was because they played with In Flames, Nevermore, and Evergrey (AWESOME CONCERT... except throwdown that is...). They were SOOOO out of place it was hilarious. A few of people actually booed when they came onstage and said "FINALY!" when they left. So I was against the rail almost falling asleep during their performance when it occured to me, "these guys (and their fans) think that they are metal." So my question is whether you think of Hardcore is metal or not. answer away...
oh, and if you havent heard of hardcore then basically it's just a bunch of frat guys getting together and trying to be... well.... hardcore. haha.

Your description of hardcore doesn't do the genre any justice whatsoever.
Hardcore is an offshoot from punk. It includes bands like Agnostic Front, Cro-Mags, Biohazard, Hatebreed, Walls of Jericho and Terror among others.
A few of these bands have blended metal elements and are metal fans as well as punk(Hatebreed and Biohazard). Which personally I don't see any problem with at all.
If you don't like it, fine. That's your prerogative.
I like Throwdown and the bands I mentioned above. Am I somehow not metal for that?
Keep an open mind. You never know what you might miss out on in the process.
i tell you what a band called bullets and octane omg they r gonna be big i heard them live on radio one the other night and the kicked trivium for a live performance
