The following companies still test their products on animals. The list of these companies can be found at http://www.thevegetariansite.com/ethics_test.htm and is also listed below.
I'm asking that those of you out there who are against this sort of testing to boycott these products and/or write the companies. Also, spread the word to your friends and family. Ask them not to buy from these companies. Help me in this cause. Help the animals.

I want to say I agree. It's wrong to take away an innocent animal's life when there are better ways to know if a product is safe.

I do want to point out on the list: Huggies? and Oscar de la Renta? *has a ridiculous picture of a lab mouse with diapers and designer clothes on* :teehee:

There is also lists on companies who do testing and don't do testing on the PETA website. You have to download it though.

Not to sound harsh, but would you rather test on humans? An animal is expendable, you can breed another. You can't do that with humans in the same way. And I for one, don't care if a few mice/rats/hamsters/guinea pigs/ the odd cow die for the betterment of humanity. Pastuer, anyone?

While I do agree that is a product such as diapers is so unsafe it must be animal tested, it should be boycotted, I am an avid angler and hunter, who eats the game he kills, and thus heartily dislikes PETA.

If humans want to better eyemakeup and lipstick, then they should bloody well test it on themselves and suffer the consequences.

We're not on about bettering people's lives here but their stupid vanity. Granted, I am not familiar with all the products on their list, but I gather most of them are cosmetics.

To say animals are expendable because you can breed another, is so not the point, I'm struggling to figure out how to type all I want to say without getting kicked off the forum.

So I should probably leave before this turns into an argument - which it would do because I'm involved and I actually care about animals - which wouldn't be fair to Eowyn (who I totally commend for bringing this up).

And I agree with PETA on almost everything.

I agree that NO ONE should test their products on animals, and I am glad that someone had brought up the subject, but I am thinking that either this list is over-kill, or it's faulty. I mean things like.... Drano? Lysol? S.C. Johnson? Kleenex? Post-It? Those brands have nothing to do with animals or humans - why on earth would they be tested on animals? If they were looking for some dangerous chemical in their stuff, it seems like it would be easier -in every sense of the word- just to use a lab, rather that testing it on an animal.

^ Well I don't fully understand it either, but some tissues for example, have a scent that is meant to sooth the skin. So that is something that could be tested on mice to see if they have a reaction.

Post-its also have some sort of sticky substance so that is something else that could be tested to see if there is a reaction.

Basically, who knows what parts of products are tested on animals?

Car Transport Services

Car transport is a critical service for car dealers, car rental companies and car owners. If you have any of those needs, then Big Rig Trucking Company has the perfect solution for you! We are located in Austin Texas and offer car transport services to ensure that no matter what your need is, we can provide it. We work with clients from all over the world so if you’re looking for auto transport services anywhere in Austin Texas, we will be able to handle it expertly. Contact us today to learn more about our car transport solutions!

What’s the cheapest way to transport a car?
Open transport car shipping is most likely going to be the cheapest car transport option. This is the most commonly picked option, as only about 10% of car owners opt for enclosed car transportation. If you’re just looking to move your car across town, this is a great option.

Can you ship a car with stuff in it?
We do not recommend car shipping with items inside the car. It’s a risk that you are taking, and most car carriers will not take this type of responsibility on when it comes to your belongings–the liability would be too high. This is why enclosed car transport is so popular: there is less chance for loss or damage during transit.

Trust the Pros
Your vehicle is one of the most expensive items you’ll ever own, so if car shipping is not an area in which you’re familiar with the ins and outs, this might be a good time to turn to professionals for help. We provide some of the best car transport solutions out there, and we feel that they are going to fit your needs perfectly.

Different Types of Vehicles
Since we’ve been transporting vehicle for a long time, we have experience with a wide variety of car types, including sports cars, motorcycles, cargo vans, trucks, and SUVs. NO matter the size of the car or what it needs to be moved for, we have a plan. If it has wheels and yo need it to be shipped, we can handle it! Give us a call today and get a free estimate for your car today.

Cost of Shipping Your Vehicle
It is all about the bottom line: when you use this service, you will get your money’s worth. You want to spend as little as possible for something that works well and provides value. This is why our auto transport solutions are streamlined and easy to understand. We do not complicate things; we keep it simple because complications add up in price.

Customer Service
We are car transport experts and we know that quality customer service is a must. This means you will be getting excellent assistance as soon as you call, no matter what time of day it is or how many people need to get involved with your case (because car shipping can involve quite the team). We also make sure that our representatives will be able to give you all the information you need about your shipment.

If you need to ship an LTL we are a quality trucking company.
