rats i really thought i got this, but now i'm stuck again!!!
i think my teacher's out 2 get me. LOL.
OK, here it is: (it's not as hard as the other 1, but still confusing.)
A rectangular swimming pool is 3 times as long as it is wide & is surrounded by a deck 2.5 m wide. Find the dimensions of the pool if the area of the deck is 265 m(squared. idk how 2 make the 2 small, so i'll just write squared.)
the odd # problems have the answers to them in the back of the book. The answer to the problem is 36m by 12 m. But how did they get that?
