Ah! Early Edition! We (me and my family) used to watch that show every time it was on! And now we can't cause it's not on and we can't find it on dvd. Sad

(we get it on a station called Pax.)

"John Galt is Prometheus who changed his mind. After centuries of being torn by vultures in payment for having brought to men the fire of the gods, he broke his chains-and he withdrew his fire-until the day when men withdrew their vultures"
"This is John Galt speaking"
Both of those quotes came from Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand

I also like these:
"Death does not wait for you to be ready. Death is not considerate nor fair. And make no mistake, here you will face death!"
"Training is nothing! The will is everything! The will to act"
"Only a cynical man would call what these people have "lives," Wayne. Crime. Despair. This is not how man was supposed to live. The League of Shadows has been a check against human corruption for thousands of years. We sacked Rome. Loaded trade ships with plague rats. Burned London to the ground. Every time a civilization reaches the pinnacle of its decadence, we return to restore the balance."
"No one can save Gotham. When a forest grow too wild, a purging fire is inevitable and natural. Tommorow the world will watch in horror as its greatest city destroy itself. The movement back to harmony will be unstoppable this time."
"We are back to finish the job. And this time no misguided idealists will get in the way. Like your father, you lack the courage to do all that is necessary. If someone stands in the way of true justice, you simply walk up behind them and stab them in the heart."
"Well, well. You took my advice about theatricality a bit..literally"
"Gentlemen, time to spread the word. And the word is... panic!"
All of those above were made by Ra's al Ghul in Batman Begins

And finally.....
"See enough?"
That's from Captain Englehorn in King Kong (2005)

Heh...I love...here's some (will post more when I think of them)

- "This game is like a chess game on a knifes edge," Some announcer guy on the Germany vs. Italy game. But now we say it all the time (we = me and my family)

- "It's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice," uknown (to me)

- "Not everything that canbe counted counts and not everything that counts can be counted," Albert Einstien

-"Better to keep your mouth shut and let people think you're a fool, than to open it and let them know it" NO clue. But I like it

not that great -- I know some more but I can't think!

"We shall say Ni again if you do not appease us." Michael Palin in Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

"Life is what's happening when you are busy making plans." Not sure who said that but I think it may have been said by John Lennon.
