Well, I've got a new husband. My current obsession wouldn't let me go, so I married OUAT's Killian Jones, aka Captain Hook! Yep, I turned pirate! I've always wanted to go to Neverland

In real life news, did my part for Earth Day by picking up trash in my subdivision, made my woods a cleaner place. But it was a long walk that nearly killed me! but hey, exercise.

I've remarried too, because elves. I have lots of Fingon feelings. Or just Noldor feelings in general, but if he's High King, that would make me a queen, and I'm alright with that.

... I have the pressing feeling that I should be doing work, but I can't be bothered. Also I think someone vomited on my carpet during the open day... there's a suspicious stain on the floor and I'm certain I didn't put it there.

Well a big welcome to Fingon! My, our family has its share of royalty doesn't it? Kings and princes and now you're a queen. Oh dear, I've brought a pirate in amongst all the nobles, I'll have to watch him like a hawk to make sure nothing goes missing!

A suspicious stain is never good! I wanted to do some yard work today, because I'm nuts and enjoy that sort of thing, but its raining. *sigh* Ah well, rain is a good thing! I guess I'll just relax and read today.

Anyway, I got recently re-married as well. I've decided to give in to my Richard Armitage obsession and marry my favorite character: John Thornton, from "North and South". No royalty, more of a self-made man, but very kind hearted and hard working

Shadow, I hope the mystery of the suspicious stain, or rather the stain itself, is cleared up soon!

I gave in to that the moment I joined the Family Tree, since I'm still married to his Hobbit character, so basically, I am royalty!

I really have to see some of his other work, but they keep coming out with new Hobbit collectibles, and I end up buying those first. I just recently bought the second Chronicles book. Out of curiousity, I've already read the Dwarven part (it's quite long, so don't say that I didn't warn you).

So that I can finally participate in the Family Tree roleplaying threads, I finally changed my username (you might want to update the first post in both this thread and in the adoption thread if you haven't already done so). Although it's a different spelling of the name of the heroine from the movie, Brave, it is actually a female dwarf name, since I found it on a name generator site (not the same one where I found the names of my characters on the LOTR Fanatics Plaza). The reason I was known as the Lady of Darkness was because I was more into the villains when I originally joined, so it was about time I changed it anyways.

I'm not that good at playing canon characters (other than Capt. Jack from POTC), so bear with me in the Family Tree roleplaying threads.

I'll think I'll stop now, before this post ends up turning into a novel (I have a bad habit of doing that)...

Well today Hook decided to teach me how to sword fight, which I found fun...although it was an idea he quickly disbanded out of fear of losing his other hand.

In RL news, the "Hook-itis" in my wrist came back today...I blame the rain. Stupid sore wrist...

Ok, with all the new members and the husband claiming/trading and a few name changes, could y'all help me out and just check the Tree list in the first post to make sure your stuff is accurate? Everything's accurate with me. I did notice one curiousity, though. Wouldn't legolin and her husband be part of the sixth branch rather than the seventh, since she's the child of someone from the fifth? Just thought I would point that out. Also, in the adoption thread, Lhun failed to update both legolin and her husband in both the 3rd and 6th/7th branch. Other than those few things, it looks pretty up to date to me.

I'm just laughing because I didn't know one of my sisters is married to Maedhros. Fingon/Maedhros is one of my OTPs so this amuses me.

Now, for memorizing who my relatives are... xD
