I know exactly what you mean Seren. Even though I like the feeling and atmosphere of Christmas, I have very different thoughts about how I would spend MY perfect Christmas day then my family. Same goes for December 31st, although this year I've made some nice plans to spend it with friends who don't like fireworks either. Anyway, to avoid all this for the next year I've decided to be in New Zealand from early November to the second week of January

I just want to avoid it all. The panic attacks about it have started and I don't know how much longer I can cope with it and it's only the 8th December.

I have come to dislike most christmas songs. They are all about magic reindeer and mommy kissing Santa Claus. I feel that it really takes the meaning of Christmas out.
I dont mind all songs though
Another thing...Christmas lights, i like them, but it was a bit annoying when they were out (and on) November 1st. Pumpkins next to a reindeer? Really!

Yay, my new name is liked! Thanks everyone I was hesitant because I thought people would find it goofy, but hey, I'm obsessed with Tinker Bell (and all things Peter Pan related), plus it goes well with my sig/icon, and my husband!

I will admit, seeing a Christmas commercial in October was ridiculous. And I dont like to think about Christmas until after Thanksgiving. Now that its officially December, I am immersing myself in all the groovy holiday things! I love Christmas, although it is getting too commercialized, to quote Charlie Brown.

The only Tinker Bell I'm familiar with is the one in the Disney version, and I have no idea why anyone would like that version of her. She tries to MURDER Wendy. She gets jealous and legit tries to MURDER her. It's beyond me how kids find her adorable and cute.

Evangeline Lilly said that she used tinker bell to help her form the character of Tauriel. Because 'she is so tiny and cute but so aggressive'
Does that mean Tauriel is going to be tiny and aggressive?


Would anyone want to have a family tree party for the realease or DoS? I know its been slow around here...so do you guys think its worth it?

Well thats the Tink I'm obsessed with! Yes, she does try to murder Wendy, and tries it in the J.M. Barrie book as well. Disney actually toned her down a bit compared to Barrie's jealous little fairy. Barrie's explanation was that fairies are so small, they only have room to feel one emotion at a time, so when they feel one, they feel one! I like her spunk and her sassy nature, plus the new movies Disney has made starring Tink are so adorable!

And legolin, I have no idea. A party would be nice, I mentioned to Lhun not too long ago how nice it would be to have another winter party, but there's been so little activity lately I'm not sure how active it would be

So the other day I went to work, and I got there early so I could take advantage of the sales and do a little christmas shopping. I'm in line with my purchases and the old lady in front of me (obviously having some sort of difficulty at the register) turns to me and in a snippy manner says "do you work here?". I was like "yes, but i'm off the clock at the moment." she got huffy and went back to juggling things around on the counter and digging in her purse. seriously? I'm standing in line with things to buy, I didn't have my nametag on or anything to indicate I worked there, and I'm not sure what the lady thought I could do for her since the person working the register was one of the managers. I swear, people sometimes...

So today I discovered on Barnes&Noble's website they were having a sale, 50% off British tv series/movies. Now who can pass that up?! Especially since those things are always so expensive! So I got my dad the Fawlty Towers series, and I got myself North and South (with Richard Armitage of course!). It was a fantastic sale! Not sure how long its going on, but its one to check out

Had my first day of tests and I'm pretty sure I failed. Oh well, level one here I come again! We have the speaking test tomorrow, which probably won't go great either. xD

Looks like a lot is happening for everyone.

When I think of Tinker Bell, I think of the one in the Peter Pan, where Jason Isaacs played both Mr Darling and Hook. That one explained that Fairies can only feel one emotion at a time.


I'm back for today, it seems. I was that dissappointed with DoS, that I had to so see if my internet worked, to to voice said oppinions. Thankfully, it works.
