.....that moment when your patience with people wears thin at work, and when people ask you "Do you work here?" you want to reply "No, I'm just walking around with a scan gun and a printer scanning clothes for kicks", or when they ask "do you have a dressing room?" you want to reply "Well, do you see that sign over there on the wall that says 'Fitting Rooms'??...."

Maybe next time you could reply with "No we don't, so you'll have to change in the middle of the store." Although I can imagine your manager wouldn't approve of that strategy!

No, I'm afraid he wouldn't! Some lady threw her earrings across the counter at me today because they weren't 60% off. Because she's an idiot and read the sale sign wrong. She argued they were on sale, so I went to look, and came back to explain "no, the brand of earrings you have are not on sale, the brand of earrings below yours on the rack are, which is what the sign is for" and she's like "then why dont you have it clearly marked!" to which I replied "it is, the sign says its only that specific brand". After she chucked her earrings at me I really wish I could have told her to get her crap and move to another register, but I can't do that, unfortunately. Ah well, the rest of the day went alright at least. At least I got off early enough to enjoy my evening, and have a movie night with The Little Mermaid!

Happy New year family! I am starting out the new year with a cold, it seems. Must go into town to buy kleenex and medicine, I do believe.

We have an hour to go, but I'm exhausted, so I might not make it until midnight. In that case...HAPPY NEW YEAR'S EVERYONE!

Got quite a bit done today! Went to the store to get my cold necessities, parked the car at a friends house in anticipation of the coming snow, got my laundry done, my blankets washed, my room cleaned, and all my new stuff from the holidays put away (had to reorganize my bookshelves, I am now officially out of room on them), and watched the Winter Classic hockey game. Good start to the new year, I think! Also watched the bonus features on my dvds for Once Upon A Time season 2, nearly died from "Hooker overload" due to the Hook feature. Am now relaxing in my cozy new pajamas, trying to decide what to read next...

Well, you have 385 posts to go...thats not too bad Ohmygosh...i am such a mess...today the full reality of "My Dwarf's" death hit me...this sounds so weird, im mourning a fictional character! Plus, if Tauriel dies...I'll have no characters to love (except Bilbo ) Its awful...and the worst idea was to go on YouTube and look up Kili and Tauriel stuff...TOO SAD Im so weird! ^^^ But... LEAVE MY ALONE TO MOURN THE DEATHS OF FICTIONAL CHARACTERS I HAVE BECOME OVERLY ATTACHED TO!This fits my mood perfectly! *sob* Am i alone in my grief?

Ah, that moment when reality kicks in and you realize you are mourning non-existent persons. I think we've all been there at some point I like to think of it as a perfect example of perfect writing style (be it from book or script writer), although that doesn't make the feelings less hard. And I have a habit of becoming very attached to characters in books/movies/series, so I've been through some serious fictional character mourning Ugh, like Sirius Black in "Harry Potter"... Anyway, I really shouldn't be thinking about that and instead focus on my thesis, that I'm trying to write. I've done my best to gather a huge pile of literature and read most of it, yet I still fail to find a good introductionary sentence to start the story

Its so weird,I've been talking about their deaths for a year, but i guess i never realized that I'll have to watch them die I'll probably cry in the theater, i nearly did for DoS anyway Today i got up at 6am (i stayed up until 2am!) And went for an 8 mile run. Its weird how a run wakes you up!

I'm a couple of days late to the party, but happy new year everyone! I had to take some time off, because long story short, my grandmother is seriously crazy, and trying to drive me insane. I had to take a few days break from her, before I snap. She lives with us, so that makes it harder to avoid her. When I can snatch a few seconds of normality, I'm working on my book. It's getting easier to write, now the most difficult stuff is almost done.

To the Professor! My family celebrated Tolkien's birthday with hot chocolate and lembas bread at 9pm (nine o'clock for the nine members of the fellowship ) I hope it turns into a family tradition!

^That is friggin awesome! My family would never do anything cool like that. They'd give me the same look they give me when I mention celebrating Sherlock Holmes's birthday on January 6th. *sad head shake*
As for mourning the deaths of fictional characters, dont worry, I know what you mean, I'm still mourning characters from HP, like Sirius, and Lupin...characters from The Vampire Diaries (both show and book series)...BBC's Robin Hood....LOST....
