Thanks for the list! I think I've seen that one before. The name of the site and the lay out is familiar.
Yeah, I was going to try google, but there are so many lists, and most of them are just cliche ones. It's hard to find a good list. I have been asking my friends on Facebook as well. Because different people have different opinions on gothic names. Like a few people suggested Jane and Edward, because of Jane Eyre being total gothic theme. I have read and seen Jane Eyre, but I never would have considered using those names.

Well, friend issues still aren't going well. Maybe its because we've never actually had a fight. We've been a bit more bickery here lately it seems. Ah well, perhaps tomorrow things will improve. On another note, I must have slept funny, the left side of my neck hurts.....And no, no puncture marks left over from a hot vampire visit last night Anyway, its rather annoying, I hate having a pinched nerve in my neck. Meanwhile, I've been trying to find an easy Irish recipe for tomorrow, something simple since it'll just be for me, maybe something dessert-ish...will have to do some searching tonight, and possibly make a store trip tomorrow!

I went to an Alice in Wonderland themed cafe today. It was absolutely magical.

That sounds awesome! Was it Disney-inspired, Tim Burton-inspired or classic-Alice-drawings-inspired?

What is it that makes managers think that if they nag and needle and annoy a person about trying to get something, that something will just fall out of the sky? yes, i am aware I needed to get a charge card sign-up today. Yes, I am aware that I had went my whole day without getting one. thats just the way the cookie crumbles some days. all because our store is in a stupid contest again.

I hate it when people do that to. Two things happened today, that really bugged me. I got phoned by Orange (my mobie phone opperater), asking me if I would top-up my credit more often, if they gave me a cheaper rate. I told them "No, considering I only top up when I need it, and talk to most of my friends online." I hung up on them, because they wouldn't give up. Then I opened my mail, to find that I had a letter telling me to apply for a credit card, and my bad credit won't stop me from being approved. I don't have bad credit, nor want a credit card. I don't know where they got that idea from, considering that I've never had a credit card or a loan in my life. Bugging me won't suddenly make want to spend money I don't have on phone credit, or get a credit card. /rant over. LOL, it feels good to get that out of my system. So, how is everyone?

I went to a restaurant in January that had an Alice themed menu, they gave you a passage of the book to read then they bought out tea pots with mock turtle soup in, and the narrators told the story of the mad hatters tea party whilst they offered you a ticking watch and you had to dunk it in the tea pot where it melted and became the broth for the soup. The meal was finished off with "Queen of hearts" jam tarts, in that they looked exactly like the Queen of hearts playing card

Ok, with some members being a bit more active on here lately (YAY!), what would y'all say to trying a party, or perhaps an RP story for family members? Give us something to do, and maybe draw back some more of our relatives. Thoughts?

Come January 6th, I've been a member of this forum for two years! And April 15th is my first year anniversary on TORN (theOneRing.net). I'm known as the Queen of Erebor on that site (in case anyone's curious that's not already a member). DoS has finally left theaters in my area (I couldn't go last week, since they only had an 8:15 p.m. showing and 10:30 p.m. is a little late for my mom to pick me up, since she's usually in bed by then), so I've seen it a total of eleven times in theaters, all in 3D (once in the new HFR 3D, and ten times in regular RealD 3D). In contrast, I saw AUJ ten times, but unlike DoS, three of those times was in 2D. It's less than three weeks until I have the 3D Blu-ray/DVD combo pack, so I'll finally be able to see the 2D version. It looks like I'll be upgrading to Blu-ray soon, since my television has horizontal lines on it until it warms up. If I hit the TV stand in front of it, it comes back into focus. It's one of my parents' older ones, so I had to buy a RF modulator to hook it up to my DVD player (since it didn't have the right connections). Once I upgrade, it will be the first TV I have that's actually mine, instead of my parents' old cast offs. I wouldn't mind another Family Tree party, since I kind of miss that kind of role-play (I'll get back to the POTC one soon, due to the fact that I got busy on TORN again).

Queen of Erebor...*sigh* what an awesome username... 11 times!?! That's awesome! I'm hoping to catch a third showing tomorrow...but I'll have to convince my dad or uncle to take me Are you planning to see TaBA 12 times, then? I think I'll be too heartbroken to watch it more than once The DoS digital version comes out on March 25....YESYESYESYES!

I didn't find the Hobbit movies to be as magical as LotR, so I've been satisfied with seeing them once. But with RotK I went to the cinema 10 times.

I missed DoS, sadly. It came out right in the middle of the busy shopping season at work, so when I wasn't working I was busy doing Christmas related things, or the weather was too bad for me to get out and go anywhere. Alright, so we've established a party would be fun! And I agree Marida, I miss that kind of RPing too, haven't "went anywhere" with my poor hubby in a while
