A party?! Yay! I'm so up for that idea. I barely got involved with the last one, because it was during on of those times, when a novel idea was in the works.

I am in such a good mood today. I was given a suprise gift from my mum. It's a expansion pack for The Sims 3. She knew how dissapointed I was that I couldn't get Late Night, which is glitched and the laptop I play on doesn't have internet, so I couldn't download patchs to fix them. She remembered me mentioning that all the features I wanted were in Supernatural, so she brought me it.

Alright, we'll have a party here soon then! Weekend is a little busy to do anything plan wise, I'm afraid. If anyone has any suggestions, feel free to voice them.

Went shopping with Ma today and had lunch, also found out another retail store in the same shopping mall as my work place is hiring part time at the moment. So I'm going to put in an application for that, hopefully get another part time job. I do find it amusing that it is almost right next door to my current work place. It would be nice if I got it, would be rather convenient to have another job so nice and close.

Today was uneventful. (In a good way that is.) I spent a lot of time fussing the cats, and doing my Tweety Pie impression. Then played Sims 3 for a while. I actually got two playable ghost sims to have a ghost baby. That was fun.

So, as a bit of background info, I have recently dropped a pant size. Not a big thing, just a size 10 to an 8, and its just because of my job and all the moving around I do. I count it as simply "trimming down", and I'm sure my yoga has helped with some toning as well. Now on to tonight's "incident". We went out to dinner with the grandparents tonight, and before we headed out to the restaurant my grandma goes "have you lost weight?" Well, what girl doesn't like to hear that question, whether they've actually lost weight or not, right? I offhandedly mentioned just a little trimming going on. Her next question was "were you trying to lose weight?", well no, I wasn't. Therefore all of a sudden, "well what is something wrong, are you sick?!".....I went from trimming down to having some sort of deadly disease that is ravaging my body and causing me to waste away apparently. 0_o Anyway, we get to the restaurant and while we're walking in (my grandmother is following along behind me) she's like "I just cant get over how much weight you've lost!"....what the crap? Just how fat was I when you saw me last week grandma?? Kinda makes you go "geeze, what the heck did I look like before???" ah well, thats grandma. Like my Ma told me after we got back home "just wait, eventually you'll hear her say 'you need to stop losing weight, youre starting to not even look good anymore'" Because thats what grandma told her when she was working out and eating healthy and what not. And she wasn't losing too much weight, she had hit her healthy weight goal for her height! Like I said, ah well, just grandma. She's been known to describe me to her cafe friends as "homely and strange". :/

I've done a fair bit of writing. A friend and I are doing a story exchange. Even though the plot is different from the concept she gave me, I think she will like it. At least, I hope so.

Well I've been skulking around, though I did some work on the Tree list on the first page, made it all prettyfull, with some big help from Lembas! But other than that, no, been rather quiet.

As to how I'm doing, hit a rough patch here recently but I think I'm getting over all the bumps finally. And your story exchange sounds like an interesting idea! Hope she enjoys it! I've been trying to work on my writing recently as well, but the aforementioned rough patch distracted me from it.

I came up with the idea of a novella exchange, but my friend doesn't think she would be able to make a story long enough. So instead, it's a "However much you manage to write" exchange. When I finish my story, it will go up on FictionPress, so I'll post the link here for everyone to read.

Hey everyone, I posted some of the chapters on FictionPress. It isn't complete, so it will be updated hopefully often. Outside, Looking In. Give it a read, and tell me what you think. I'm really nervous about publishing original works. A horrible person spent five year smashing my writing confidence, by criticising all my work, so this is a massive thing for me.

And I know exactly how you feel; I usually write to let off some steam, but I don't publish it. Ever. The language is too crappy and the level of my writing probably sometimes resembles bad fanfiction, but apparently that's what I need when my head feels like it's going to explode
