I do that a lot too. When I'm depressed, mad, happy, bored, whatever, I vent my emotions into a story.

My mum told me that I was always writing something, since I learned how to form sentences. She has all my old notebooks, with cute little stories in them.

I had a fanfic that I had posted up online years ago. Its still saved on my computer, and I went back and skimmed through it a while back, and boy did I cringe! The way I write now is much better than what that story is, but I'm still proud of it simply for the fact that it was a learning experience and a stepping stone to improving the way that I write now. But its the only thing I've ever posted up online, mostly because any other stories I've started since that one I wound up not finishing, because that seems to be my theme.

Well, seems my interview for a receptionist position went well, interviewer even told me that it looks good for me, though I'm not going to count my full hobbits until the pantry is completely empty! Trying not go get too excited, until I get a for certain answer on Monday. This weekend is going to seem to go by so slow now!

Well....still haven't gotten a call about that receptionist job. Getting rather antsy. I called today and left a message inquiring about what is going on with it, but didn't get a call back. Good thing I didn't get myself too excited. Its very frustrating though! Lets just say I have this thing where I stress clean....my room has been cleaned like a surgical suite. I also have this thing where I buy books when stressed (I buy books all the time, but especially when stressed/depressed)....I'm expecting a delivery from my bookstore this week.

Yay me too! Although it took me a bit longer than usual to get it because I found out the teabags were all ruined in the worst way possible: by spilling all tea leaves on the kitchen floor..

dang...now i want tea....but its late....Anyway, great news! I finally got a call about that receptionist position, and they hired me! Woohoo! Apparently the lady had been out sick for a few days, and hadn't been able to contact me until today. I'm excited, I can't wait to have a bigger paycheck flowing in! And to add to the good news, I also got a bit of a raise at my current job! Not huge, only 15 cents, but every bit helps!!

Congrats Tink!


I'm taking a semi-break from the internet for about a week. I've been feeling a lot underappreciated by certain people in my life. Sick of seeing hypocritical drama stuff that comes up on my facebook feed, that we are all supposed to rage about with gusto (when I think it is unimportant and refused to oblige.) Have been procrastinating my novel far too much. Plus my internet pass is due to run out soon, and I can't be bothered to get a new one.

I'm near the end of my novel, and just want to take some time off and get it finished. Once I'm done with the first draft, I can play around with it, and make it better.

I know when I go out of town and dont have internet I wind up getting some good story ideas.
