Speaking of fan fics, if you're curious on how I "met" your father, I'm writing a fan fic about it. I posted a link in the fan fiction section. If you don't have an account, FF.net allows you to post a review as a guest, so don't hesitate to leave one yourself if you wish (I'll be updating soon). Also, the joys of being a part of the AU Family Tree is that you get to host your own little "parties" (though you don't have to). I'll be hosting a few in the coming months, one for Marida's birthday party (set in Laketown) in a few weeks (since it's my birthday, so it makes more sense) and another one closer to Durin's Day (which will be at the beginning of December) that will take place in Erebor. If you've never roleplayed before, it's not that different from fan fiction, but instead of just contributing to the story yourself, other people continue the story with their own characters (just note that you'll also be roleplaying as your "spouse", so that if you don't know how they'll react to a certain situation, you may want to review a similar thing described in the books or seen in the movies).

I'm a fairly experienced RP-er and fanfiction writer. Thanks! Faramir and I shall most definitely attend. My birthday's not for another year almost.
I've actually written quite a few fanfics on FF.net, and then more on my computer. My user is LuthienThranduillion, if you wanna check them out. Most of it is Fourth age Aragorn and Faramir angst/friendship.
I also like to play around in my own fantasy world. It's quite fun. You can do anything you want. Quite literally, anything. I'll be posting part of my Tales of Fainynnair on FP.net in November, if you have an account on that you could read it.
I'll go check out your fic!

Yeah, it's great that so many people write on here.

I am going to put my children's story on FictionPress. I'm not sure if I should link to them all in a thread in FanFics, because they are original stories.

I've set myself a writing challenge. To write and finish 5 stories in 5 different genres.
I have these so far;
1. Supernatural (story in progress)
2. Children (in progress)

But I am dabbling with the idea of a sci-fi story and a fantasy genre one.

Cool! I write mystery (Though I'm not good at it), adventure, drama, and fantasy. Usually all rolled into one. Most of my stories take place in Fainynnair, my imaginary land.

I always think it is pretty cool when people can invent their own world. Usually with my stories, the timeline could be all over the place. Mostly I make fictional towns that arein the UK, or somewhere in Europe.

It's hard to develop a world. Cause then you've gotta develop kingdoms, cultures, languages... etc.
And then the heroes themselves... They each have to be personalized. But once you've made a world, it's fun to play around in.
