I thought that DollDivine pic that Marida made was so awesome, that I decided to make one of Erin. (Or Queen Lónannûniel, to the elves of the realm.) I absolutely could not decide on an outfit for her, so I made a outfit for each season. Spring, summer, autumn and winter. Funnily enough, winter is the only season where she actually wears shoes. She is barefoot in all others. I just imagine her that way. Walking barefoot through the forest. I based her looks a little bit off me. Her eyes are blue, and mine are not. She is much prettier than me. The hair is about right. In real life, it isn't that long yet, but when I'm done growing it, it will. I suppose the other difference is, she wears dresses and I don't. Since she isn't nearly as vain as her husband, he insisted on giving her the jewellery, she only wore it to spare the argument over it. ( They argue over everything else.) I guess she'll be wearing the pink one for Marida's party. Probably the blue one for Durin's Day.

Isn't it funny that our characters have longer hair than our husbands? I don't think Thorin's is that long (yet), and neither is mine, though it used to be until my mom whopped off eight inches instead of four. It's just past the shoulders now, and I'm trying to grow it back to Thorin's length, so I won't let my mom touch my hair until Christmas. Though I do have blue eyes, mine are a darker shade of blue (Marida's may be the same color as her husband's). I also tried to dress her in colors I actually wear (so pinks and purples were out, though I'm not sure if dwarven women even wear those colors, so it may be more accurate than I thought) as well as give her some of Thorin's signature color (though of a lighter shade), she just doesn't wear as much of it. I don't like wearing dresses either (too girly, and I'm more of a tomboy), but I practically live in the color blue. The nasty sunburn I got is finally beginning to heal, but it did dry out my skin more (I have dry skin, anyways), so I may have to apply more moisturizer (since I have sensitive skin, I use an aloe vera based one) until it turns into more of a tan. This will teach me to always apply sunscreen before leaving my apartment (I just didn't think it was that hot, but the accompanying breeze may make you burn faster, sort of like when you're on the water).

LOL, it is a funny coincidence. I guess it would be more likely with mine, because elf women do tend to have very long hair. I didn't really think about common colours for her clothes. I thought that since Thranduil appears to dress with the seasons in mind, perhaps Erin would too. My wardrobe is mostly reds, blues, purples and the odd green. Maybe grey. Some of the colours I would wear, like the winter dress. But not the others. I also made two more, just because I absolutely love the doll maker. BTW, you can make couples in it. Just press the plus button again, dress the new doll, then place it where you want in view mode. I was going to add Thranduil to mine, but the options for elven men's hair made him look nothing like how he should. I might add a doll of her personal guard, though, just for fun. I also made a wedding dress, and how she might have dressed while living in Gondor while married to Faramir. (Yes, she is actually wearing shoes. Also, her ears are tucked behind her hair, to pretend she is human.) )

Very cool character pics, gals. Do they have a pirate option for those?

I'm not sure, but if you have a click around Doll Divine, you might find a pirate one. I've been obsessed with making LotR/The Hobbit dolls on it. I don't save most of them. Unless I make one of Erin/Lónannûniel. Or, this one exception. I made this, thinking about if Erin and Thranduil had a daughter. I made three, and could not choose one of them. They only have one, but in my mind she seems to change from one to the other, like some kind of FrankenDaughter. XP She doesn't have a name and will be never mentioned at all in the family tree. I only made her for my own amusement, really.

Pirates are here Tink . Doll makers are so addictive! but I've always preferred to make my own dolls of my ocs, These are ancient, but I still love them. I've had a really busy week, went to two VIP parties on Thursday, was schmoozing with Mps, people from the US Embassy and someone who used to teach Barack Obama and then went to the massive staff party for my museum and got to see how all the work I've been doing researching and looking after the large exhibits for the last two years has paid off. It was awesome Bellatrix- beware the primani trap! Their pjs are awesome but everything else falls apart after you wear it once. So many pretty things, but so much disappointment!

Doll makers are extremely addictive. I used to be obsessed with one. I don't know if it is still there, but the link was tektek.org/dream. They have quite litterally thousands and thousands of options. I'm having such a slow day today. No matter what I attempt to do, I'm just like "I can't be bothered." DX I've been so tired lately. We had to change the route we walk the dogs, and the new one is so stressful.

Thanks Lembas,I'll have to play around and make a pirate doll, i think!! So rereading the Harry Potter series has made me curious how the HP forum I used to be on is doing. I haven't been there in a few years! I actually can't remember any of my log in information anyway. (was anyone on here ever on hexrpg.com?) Anyway, I am having a wonderfully relaxing weekend so far! Certainly hope it continues! (and i've just seen the random line "I've got a jar of dirt, I've got a jar of dirt, and guess what's inside it!" on a web page, and after i was finally able to control my laughter i'm now left with the urge to watch Pirates...love that Jack line, and that moment, waving his jar of dirt around, I may have plans for the rest of the evening...)

My fish Morwen died today. I don't understand, I checked on her and she was fine about half an hour before I found her dead.

Doll Divine does have a Pirate Maker game (listed under the History section). Check out this doll I made of Miranda Spano (my PotC character): Since this is an older game, you have to save the image by pushing the print screen button on your computer and then pasting it into Paint where you can crop the image to whatever size you want (800 x 600 to upload it to your Doll Divine account, if you have one). I made mine the same size as the doll I made for Marida (which was 524 x 400, so that I can post it on TORN, but since the image is kind of large, I opted against that), but I uploaded the larger size to Photobucket first so that I didn't lose any of the image.

RIP Robin Williams. Crazy alien Mork, a wonderful Peter Pan, donning a dress for Mrs. Doubtfire, game-trapped Alan from Jumanji, so so many awesome roles, too many to list, but the role I knew best was Genie, one of my favorite Disney characters. A true talent for improvisation, blessed with the gift of making people laugh. Thank you for that. Well how is everyone doing? Its been rather quiet around here

Yeah, it has been quiet. I've been here from time to time, but I haven't been able to post anything. I wanted to, but I couldn't pretend that I'm alright. Honestly, I'm not alright. Ten days ago today, a dog attacked my cat. I'm devistated. I loved that cat like she was my own daughter. She has dissappeared, and there has been no sight of her since then. I feel alone, because none of my facebook friends, or friends away from the computer seem to care. They expect me to be a shoulder for them to cry on, but they don't care that my heart has broken. The not knowing hurts me so much.

I'm so sorry to hear that Erin. Good luck on finding her. If it makes you feel better, there's this famous you-tuber called Erinshamster who recently experienced the same scenario, if you want to talk to me at all feel free to message me.
