I think I will change my name, and I'll make sure to put Orophin in my signature so people will still know who I am while they get used to my new name.

I've also noticed a theme to the answers I'm getting. Everybody wants a new name at some point, but no one can come up with one that they like.

I know a lot of people who would use their username as their character name, and some of them did it for literally all of their characters. It got very confusing after a while.

It's hard to do a story, whenever your in five different ones, with the same person, who always uses the same name, for all their characters, even though all the characters are completely different. After a while I had to read a bit extra of the story, every time that I got ready to post something, just to make sure that I was responding properly to the one that I was responding in. Even thinking about is starting to make my head hurt again. :-o

I bet it was hard. I feel a bit of the confusion, just reading about what it was like. :)

It is hard coming up with original usernames, because I tend to shy away from fandom ones. Because I go through phases of really liking things, then I'll go off it a little, and like something else. Then I would not like the username as much. Maybe change it. Then get back into the original fandom, and wish that I hadn't changed it.

I usually just like what I like. It doesn't generally change. I may get bored of doing stuff with a fandom for a period of time, but I'll still like it, and keep certain things up with it.

I've heard of it, but I have no idea what it is.

You may want to check out their page on IMDB:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1553656/?ref_=tt_rec_tt

I would avoid the message boards section, because they're just horrid (and not just for this title), since they seem to be more populated by haters than fans. The only thing I do on IMDB is look up information, quotes, goofs and the like. If you want a more positive place to discuss your favorite TV shows and/or movies, you may want to register on this site: http://www.fanforum.com. You'll know me as stormy_lass (when not related to a particular fandom, I just use general usernames, usually related to the ocean). :)

On the subject of usernames, there was no way I would have used an Elvish name for this site. For starters, you know how hubby feels about Elves, and since I'm not that much of an Elf fan (not that I dislike them or anything, I guess I just don't have enough in common with them, so I find it hard to relate to these particular characters), I wouldn't have chosen one anyway. My original username (Lady of Darkness) wasn't really one I could role-play with (I was more into the villains when I first joined, hence the username). Although my current username is a different spelling than the heroine from the movie Brave, it is in fact a female dwarf name, since I found it on a dwarf name generator site. I didn't want to choose one that was too close to the character's first name or the actor's last name, since that would have been too weird. :goofy:

I like my username, mostly because it's my real name and also a Harry Potter name. xD

^thats seriously your real name?! Awesome name. (though can't say I like the HP character too much....*sniffle* Sirius......though admittedly the chick who played her in the movies was freakin awesome)

I wrestled with the idea of changing my username as well. You're right, I think everyone does at some point. Its a good way of freshening things up, or recreating yourself in a small way. I went from Lithoniel to Tinker Bell! Rather odd change, from an Elvin name to a fairy name! But worked for my Tink obsession, and, I swear it was unintentional, it worked with my husband as well! Captain Hook and Tinker Bell!

(by the way Kraven, Batman Beyond and Nightwing, good one.)

I thought about it a little today, and I might change my username. I do have a Latin name for my character, and I could use that. But, I won't be able to put my former username in my signature. Because with the small limit on sig text, I barely have enough space for what I have. I really don't want to change anything in my sig, because I'm happy with it. Would the fact that I've had the same sig text for months be enough to identify me?

I think you'll be fine, Erin! I'll know just from the Woodland Realm bit in your sig. :)

Hi everybody, finished copying a paragraph from Google Translate for my Spanish homework so I thought an update a few things seeing as I'm here.

Who am I kidding? Nothing even remotely worth writing about happens in my life. But YOLO, right?

I went to a wedding on Saturday. My dad's friend was getting married and I was dragged along, I had to wear a dress, which sucked, and sing hymns (I mimed them, being atheist I find no reason to sing them, seeing as I believe no word the song says) but all in all it was pretty cool, I mean, I got to drink alcohol which is cool. There was a stand at the entrance with loads of sweet jars. I got called my Dad's sister or girlfriend several times, they couldn't believe I was 11 (I am very tall, and I look about 15). I also got invited to London to see the natural history museum and Big Ben etc by my Dad's best friends girlfriend, which I am looking forward to. An Irish friend of my Dad's bought me a lemonade, so that was the first time a man bought me a drink, *cringes*. That's about it, so yeah. What else do I say?

How are you all, I guess? I hope Bella is doing well her girlfriend, Erin's cat is in good health and everyone else soon is able to marry they're virtual husbands. I guess that's it. Kapeesh

Times are a bit rough right now but taking it in stride fairly well... I guess. At least I am working atm so cannot complain too much.
Ugh, I know how you feel about constantly being called your dad's wife or something. That's been happening to me since I was about 14. Kind of creepy. But London should be fun! I love and miss it there. The parks are super nice too. I wish I had huge nice parks where I live but... Whatever. Glad you are doing well over all. :)

I know those kinds of days... Makes me wish I either A) lived with my bf or B) was actually married to my AU husband.
Just let it go. Really all you can do. We are here for you though. :)

Turns out today was one of the best work days I have had in a while. So my day at least has been great. Well... You know, besides the fact I leave work at 4am. Kind of messes with your sleep schedule... Then again the extra pay after midnight is pretty worth it.

Hi everyone. How is everyone? I'm spending a lot of time on my Sims Goth Legacy. I've found that I find it more fun, writing about what happens in a notebook, and using bright colourful tabs, and lay it out how I want, much more than I did when I posted the information on Sims Wiki. Strange.

I decided not to change my username, because the name I thought I made up, is in actual fact a swedish word, and means the exact opposite than what it was intended to mean. So I'm back to square one, and stuck with this name. :(

Awww. I hate it when that happens. You think you have the most perfect name and then find out it is not what you where hoping. Naming characters is a task that takes me forever. :duh:

I have been surviving, I guess. I have not been bad but not great either. Trying to mentally prepare for the next four days of work. *deep breath*

So you love to play the Sims? I miss playing so much! Some of the greatest and most hilarious things ever happen on that game. You started a wiki page too? I am actually very interested.

So all the Sims talk around here made me get a Sims game from my friend, and I decided to create my own little Storybrooke (being the fairytale geek I am). So I made Charming, and Snow White, and their daughter Emma, and Neal, and Hook, and gave Hook a girl just to take care of that. Anyway, my plan was *since my game kept crashing every time I tried to make Henry :frust: * to have Emma and Neal get together, so I got it set up where Emma was Snow and Charming's daughter, and Neal was their roommate to make it easy. Neal and Emma seemed to instantly pair up and chat and wander around with one another and what not, so that was great. Well, I got confused, having the four of them all grouped up on the scene, and I accidentally had Emma flirt with Charming. Next thing I know, Snow is getting into a poking fight and shouting match with Emma, who's crying. Then Hook and his girl randomly showed up for a visit, adding more confusion into the bunch because it seemed like everyone was admiring one another or something, it was nuts. And then all of a sudden Snow and Emma got lost in a big dust cloud, just having a knockdown brawl, which I didn't even know they could do on the game! Its like what are you doing?!?! This is so not the Storybrooke I wanted!!! :duh: At least Hook's house is a peaceful place! The Charming residence is nuts!!

On another note, finally watched "The Rite" all the way through, without hiding completely under a blanket. Because I made my mom watch it with me! Movies like that really freak me out, but its got Colin O'Donoghue in it! I had to watch it! :p

I have never played the Sims, but I really want to. I just don't really have much time for computer games... I'm so busy.
I do have a friend that has it, and she says it's really cool and fun, and I want to try it.
Your game sounds very... interesting, Tinker Bell.
