Larael, I really like your dress too. Personaly speaking I think that it looks very Hobbitish.

I swear I thought my husband was going to do the typical male thing and wait until the last moment to pull something out of his wardrobe. I don't think he really likes going through it much. Wow, two pages in my absence!
Yes, I think a swimming hole is definitely needed for a bit of cooling down in this hot June weather.
And some ball games would be fun, too. However, there will have to be plenty of eating and dancing, too.

Thanks for the comments on the dress! Took me nearly an hour to find what I was looking for. All the old-fashioned "hobbity" dresses I looked at were either not too appropriate, or looked fake in some way.. but then I found this one!

Haldir at the disco, You are welcome. I also really like your husband's outfit. It is so Elvish. It's so...Haldir's style. Way cool. (laughs) Yeah what is it about men (Elves inclueded) not wanting to dress up for these events? Ah well I supose I really can't complain. Will was a sweetie and only made a fuss about wearing the jacket and the belt across his chest (so I told him that he could leave the jacket and the belt at home. lol). They can be nice when they want to be. lol
Gwenneth, Yay, another vote for a swimming hole! (high fives Gwenneth). Oh of course, it just would not be a ball without dancing and eating as well. I am sure that I will be doing a pleanty of all of the above. lol
JF, Your outfit looks great. I love how everything matches so well. The way the dress is made is great too, especialy the sleves. The jewlry is beutiful as well. Green black, and a hint of silver...perfect!

I only told him that I did not want him to look as if he was going to war so he decided on the green tunic and I agreed.
Will Turner will look dashing in his outfit. Great choice for him.
Haldir will look great in that outfit! It's not fancy, but suits him perfectly-it is so aptly chosen.
And Jake looks good in the suit Captain Turner. Great choice for him!
