ITS TOO COLD!!! ALREADY!!!....I am not a fan of the cold at all. I love fall with all the colors and stuff, but I wish it didn't have to come with the cold. Like I love Christmas and snow, I just wish it would find a way to snow without being cold outside!

I actually really like cold winter weather The air is so crisp and clean when you step outside, and cold weather usually comes with beautiful clear skies.
It's easier to dress for cold weather (just add another layer of clothes) than for hot weather (there's always a point when you've reached the absolute minimum of clothes to wear ).

I love cold winter weather. I could never live somewhere where it was temperate (or worse, hot) all year round. There's just something so delightful about being in cold weather with a hot drink and a robe.....

It's too cold. Yes, I have officially moved into my "I hate winter so much" state of mind. Why. Why do people enjoy cold? It is literally the most horrible thing. I had to trailer boats for rowing this morning, and as if it wasn't bad enough that my hands were practically freezing off, we ended up having to stand in the river for a while because the landings had flooded. Thank god I wore wellies. My fingers still hurt, though, and that was two hours ago.

Anyway, I'll stop whining, because I will concede that frost is beautiful--it makes everything sparkly, and I'm starting to feel a bit Christmassy.

There was one time that I really didn't mind that it was freezing cold outside. We had a huge ice storm, and all the trees were covered in ice, it was so cool, the leaves were literally frozen inside a chunk of ice. And it had snowed ontop of all the ice too, so it looked so pretty! I took a walk through the woods, it was like walking through Narnia! I wouldn't mind if that happened again, even though we were snowed in. Having that piece of 'Narnia' was nice.

Ok, it was 70 degrees today, on the first of December. As much as I hate the cold, I wouldn't mind having it go ahead and come. For one thing, it would help the flea problem thats in my area before my dog gets them again, and for another its December and I want snow for Christmas. I always wish for snow on Christmas Eve/Day, just enough to cover the ground and make the trees look pretty, but not enough to cause travelers a problem on the roads.

Lithi, one time that happened to me too! All of the trees and leaves were coated in ice. It was amazing! We had off from school that day, so I got to look at it for as long as I wanted.

We don't have snow every winter over here, but when we do the entire country is affected by it: traffic jams, trains stop riding, bike lanes are icy, everyone and everything is late, and most of all everyone is complaining about the previously mentioned things And that's for only 10 to 20 cm of snow! That's nothing compared to the Alp countries

Yeah, snow brings schools to a halt around here pretty easy because we have a lot of country backroads that the snowplows either dont get to quick enough, or some not at all. So just two inches of snow could be reason enough to call a snow day, sometimes.
