Ah, chickens. I remember my dad's neighbors who had plenty of chickens and then got watch geese to keep them safe. And no, that's not a joke. Those geese were vicious and Jesus we got chased by them a lot when we went to collect the eggs from the hens... They also had a male turkey who hated people. Good times.

@legolin--fresh eggs are fantastic! plus its awesome to just walk outside and boom! eggs. no store trip needed.  No joke, i'm afraid of turkeys. unless they're next to the gravy and mashed potatoes. one chased me as a kid, never got over the attack by Turkeyzilla. _________________

I know that feel. I really hated the turkey my dad's neighbors had. He was vicious. And then they got two vicious geese. Yeah it was soo fun visiting them after that. _________________

ugh, geese are so mean! but yeah, living where I am out in the woods, its not unusual to glance out my bedroom window and have some sort of forest critter out there. One day I looked out at about six turkeys in the yard...it was like a horror movie  And then one day I was out walking my dog and I heard a turkey gobble, my neighbor decided to get a friggin turkey...oh joy _________________
