Pandora came from the greek myth of Pandora's box, Zues created the first woman on earth and him along with other gods gave her gifts; beauty, cunning mind, skill, etc. She was also given a box that she was told not to open, dispite her warnings curiosity won and she opened the box unleashing all the terrors of the world, she closed the box trapping the most important thing in it.. Hope. the box was later opened but hope had a lot of catching up to do.... That is just the basic story of Pandora, i choose the name because I love Greek mythology and Pandora's story has always been one of my favorites. |

Gwenneth is merely my name in Sindarin, translated through The Council of Elrond name database. I have used it on A-U ever since I first came here...I think it was on the tag. |

Erulissë is 'Anna' (or Grace, which is the meaning of Anna) in Quenya, and yeah Anna is my real name. Eneth Nîn means 'my name is', so my name on here means 'My name is Anna'

Elfen.. just becuase it sounds good.. besides, the older version of "elvish" was Elfin or Elfen so yeah...
-wen is a typical female name ending in Sindarin.. or Quenya [but rather -wendë] |

I chose my name because I'm an Evenstar Bearer and Curunir's father was Frodo Baggins so when I married Curi I changed it to Evenstar Bearer-Baggins. Everyone calls me EB or Eve though. My name in Elvish is also Erulissë as my name means Grace and has no other translation in Elvish (Hannah is my name.) So there you have it

I choose Éowyn Dernhelm, because I'm totally into Éowyn, obvisiosly , and I want to show both facets of her soul: Éowyn, who supports her uncle and is degraded by Grima, and on the other hand Dernhelm, who fights in battle, kill orcs and other creatures, and try to come free.
