Hahaha, I think it can be used in many didfferent contexts. Maybe you catch someones attention: "Oi, Amoniel, listen to me" ![]() Or maybe to tell someone something "Oi, Amoniel, a motobike is headed your way!" |

What??? Oi, you say? Well, I'm not sure I use it... maybe I do... my native language isn't English (though I do use some English words and phrases when speaking). When would I use it? ![]() |

You could say: "Oi Alessae, reply to your PM, please" And I'd go "I can't be bothered right now, I'm almost falling asleep" ![]() Hehe ![]() |

Oi? well i don't know if it has a real meaning but it's used as a slightly aggressive word. A lot of punk songs use Oi. |

Ah yes... what a wonderful word that can mean about anything... Hmm, I always thought that it was spelled Oy, but Oi looks good as well. Maybe it can be spelled either way. Or I could be completely wrong, since I am an awful speller. ![]() |

I think I'm one of the few Americans who uses "oi" as a regular word. It's not like my favorite word or anything, but I've been known to use it when I'm frustrated or just feeling random. ![]() |
