I could NEVER decide!
Edward Scissorhands? Captain Sparrow? Mr. Wonka? Victor? Matthew?
Aiiiigh!
Johnny Depp acting skillz are out of this world. He always has me amazed, no matter what role he plays.

Though I'm not a major fangirl of JD's, I do think that he has acting skills and is to some point...cute.
I voted for Willy Wonka as my favorite character of JD's. He so owned that role! I enjoyed seeing JD in a more easy to connect to, lovable, off the wall without being dangerous, character. I was a little dissappointed that only one other poster had voted for Willy. Who else voted for Willy?
I also was a little surprised that Mort hasn't gotten any votes. He wasn't realy a sweet and lovable or funny and stupid character but I did think that somebody would have voted for him. I mean I think that that very well might have been the best show case of JD's way amazing acting talents. I couldn't believe how he was able to do that accent and go back and forth with the personalities! He did realy well in that role.

Fencing Maiden, *high five* right back at you. What's your favorite Willy Wonka scene? Mine is either the one where he gets mad at Violet and gives her that oh so clearly fake smile or the one where he remembers his childhood. That scene between Willy and Violet allways cracks me up. Oh, and the childhood scene...it's the look...it's so sad but at the same time so cute. Anyway what's yours?

The part where Mike Teavee is shrunk, and Willy Wonka goes...
"Hey I got an idea! We can put him in the taffy pull!!"
"The TAFFY PULL!?!?!?!?"
"Hey! That was my idea!"
*rolls over laughing*
And then I love the "MUMBLER!!!" part. AND the part where he eats the bugs. Well, I just love the whole movie.

Not seen one of his movies??? Erm ... how is that possible???
Oh well, I love him as Jack Sparrow (of course) but he was brilliant as J.M.Barrie and Roux, too.
Hard to choose between the three of them, but I think I'd probably choose J.M.Barrie.
Why? Dunno

Jack Sparrow ALL THE WAY!!!!!
I was stuck between Jack and his role in 'Once upon a time in Mexico', he ROCKS in that film.

^Agent Sands was his name.
Willy Wonka was THE ONLY ROLE I ever disliked of Johnny's. Gene Wilder's portrayal was 8 million times better. Johnny's was just... pedophile-ish.
But, it was so hard to decide between Mort Rainey (Secret Window) and of course, Jack Sparrow.
