When the barrows speak,
Will the maiden weep?
Will the winter's chill,
Find the blood to spill?
Can a soul in need,
Find a friend in greed?
Or forgotten souls,
Find the kindled coals?
Will the summer come,
To the lonely one?
Or will the ones who hate,
Delay that soul to late?
Can a soft said word,
Fix a tear only heard.
Can a harsh yelled shout,
Bring the tears about?
But when all is done,
Whether old or young.
I will stand again,
And will not give in!
For fight it may be,
But fight is all that stays.
I will fight to be free,
For the rest of my days!

Out of all of your poems so far, I have to say this is the best!
I really get the urge to make the last verse into a banner!

Realy? wow, i thought this one wasn't up to par.  I'm happy you liked it so much, though.
Hm... it'd be fine with me if you made a banner out of it. Interesting idea.

It's the meaning of the poem that got me, and the organized chaos that I felt for it that really drew me in to liking this one!
Cool! I'll show you it when I'm done with the banner! If ever I can get hold of my computer that has photoshop...

(Hey, sorry for my long absence on replying but I had some vehicle trouble that left me stranded for the past 5 days! )
On to the banner, however, I like it very much. 
The grim reaper guy is a pbit creepy, but it does fit!
