Hi!
Quite a while ago I told Miss Silvery that I was planning on writing an Aragorn/Eowyn poem. I made many attempts, but never completed a full poem! So here is a poem I've written just now called "Bittersweet", and it's dedicated to my A/E-shippery buddy - as a gift from the fiercest of Faramir/Eowyn fans

This is goodbye
Goodbye, my friend, forever
I threw away all that could be
And now I’m sinking
Oh sweet misery
I have walked a thousand paths,
Sang a thousand songs
I have left you behind,
So, so long.
When I’m dreaming
Maybe I could remember our time, our time
When I’m sleeping
And all has gone dark, into winter
Perhaps I could hold your memory to me, but you see
I’m already walking away
I didn’t take the chance to turn back, say your name
And I am paying for this
For I have broken what you offered me
What’s my penalty?
Wake up, wake up
Why won’t I wake up?
This is more than I can manage
Is there something left to salvage
And I have thrown away what I loved
This is far too much
A sweet memory
But it’s already bitter
Because of me…
Oh my goodness, and it's for me? *dies again* This is perfect timing, my dear! My A/E obsession has come back strong due to some massive Trading Yesterday "Love Song Requiem" sessions.
