Hello All, This is Mephiston here.
A while ago I had this peculiar idea whilst looking at the Graphics request threads: Why we didnt have anything like this for the poetry section? Its an unusual idea, but I asked a few people and they said it was good. And it wont hurt to start the thread anyways.
So, if you want me to write a poem for you or someone else, give me a theme (i.e. romance, happiness , endurance etc), a date by which you would like it by and then I will send it to you by PM when it is finished.
If there is significant interest I may include Fanfics/ideas for sharing here, but not for creating for other people. Whatever, Ill burn that bridge when I find it.
Thanks alot,
Mephiston
All writers are now host writers, and therefore anyone can write for you!
more requests please!
Mephiston

I am back! The Lamenter ish back in business.
Ive been thinking about this thread, and it seems to have died for a while. So, I would also invite, a well as people to request poetry from our brilliant team, any enterprising writers that want to post any poetry (and the occasional fanfic , PM me first about it though please) are free to do so.
well, thats about it really for what I wanted to say#

*Pops in* Could i request one? *Jumps up and down* *Thinks* Maybe about losing a loved one and learning to love again?
(PS: I'm writing a "book" and if you dont mind may i use it in there? I'm not really too great a poetry. I'm better at stories. *Sighs* Thanks!)

well, if no one here minds, Ill take this request.
(You can post a story here, but not too much material at once perhaps)

OK, request finished Inwe, this is what Ive come up with.
Love , I have learned is bitter and sweet,
A wellspring of strength, A crutch to hold,
A thing to keep me up on failing feet,
But when its gone, life goes dark and feels cold.
When I lost my only love, my inner spark faded,
My heart was rent in twain, like sails in a storm,
And in that moment, anything I would have traded,
To have you back,And embrace you in my arms warm.
And dim seemed my fortunes star,
Me, a mere shadow of days gone past,
And every thought of you did mar,
All my days, and this torture for a time did last.
But then I saw a beacon shone through the fury,
And like a shining Paladin from a fairytale story,
A blade you drew, of love and hope renewed,
And broke my chains, and destroyed my sorrow long brewed.
And free I soared, unbound ,as an eagle in flight,
And my once drained soul received new might,
And I wept no longer, My wrists no longer bound,
And life and love I had once more found.
This feeling was so strange to me, who had ,
Been loves thrall, My heart was glad,
Love I knew again once more, this time,
It was worth it, and I would make it mine.
For Inwe
Next request Ill sit out everyone, so someone else can do one
