Watch the leaves turning from green to brown, Watch the leaves turning from brown into gold. Watch now the sunset that fills the horizon And the moon bringing memories of friends of old. See the sea shining with the sunset’s last light See how the plants die and fade in the cold; See how the eve’ning turns day into night; And see how old memories turn into gold. Listen to their voice as they call from the past, And linger in memory still. As floods come of memories happy and vast, As they linger, and linger they will. But the streams keep running and running and flowing, As the wind blows and ripples the trees; And you can hear their voice speaking gently and softly “Remember me.” whispers the breeze. |

Great poem! It has a good flow and feel to it. I like the third stanza especially, but they are all very good! |
