Shattered and Fading They say a broken heart will mend in time. And they say a shattered spirit will heal. Inside my heart is aching, this shattered heart of mine And my shattered spirit no longer can feel. Maybe if two crushed hearts came together, Maybe then they could make one together. But my hearts in a million pieces, Floating through the air like dust. With a tearing pain that never ceases, And tells me "You can't trust" And as for my spirit... What is it anymore? just a vapor in the wind nothing anymore. A simple fading shadow of my loneliness, Is there an answer.. to any of this? |

wow. just.....wow. I think u just climbed inside my mind, pulled out my deepest, darkest, saddest feelings, and wrote them down on paper. I'm not even kidding. omg.....wow. This is....amazing. So true.....i havent been able 2 write much l8ly....but i dont have 2 b/c......u just said everything.....wow..... |

Wow that is so sad Jax. The emotion in your poem is so powerful. I love the dark imagery and it is so eloquently expressed. It really sounds as if you put your soul into the piece. Wonderful work! 
PS: Yes and it is not fun to feel this way. Hope things get better for you soon. |
